I sailed the outer Clyde with my parents as a kid and stayed in that first anchorage (behind the island) *40* years ago. I still remember it well, one of the most idyllic spots we ever moored. Caught a decent sized Pollack. Family climbed the mountain whilst I fished.
Me & my mates lived in tarbert for a wee while. we had a 15 ft motor cruiser n kept it at the wee pontoon you were filming from. The one down the ladder. used to take a trip to portavadie in it for something to do. Living there got me interested in the sea.
Really enjoy your videos James and Alex keep her pointing. Have you ever considered taking on crew to get off shore experience in exchange for Diesel money and supplies
Kieran Doran awk we wouldn’t mind bringing people out with us... but it’s knowing they are willing and no we have a laugh and don’t have anything fancy. Plus it’s enter at your own risk.lol
Great video as usual, some interesting places in this one.
