A word of advice mate.....your vocals are peaking quite a bit I noticed the orange light...... I also have a VT4 and faced this....but I solved it with the help of an intermediary like a mic preamp......i have this thing called SE electronics DM1 and inroute it between the the mic and mic cable... I just have to enable the 48voption
Interesting, thanks for mentioning! Yes, the pitch detection could be thrown off by overloading the input... In this case, I don't want to use another preamp because I'm going for portability, but I could be more careful with the input levels. The E4 sounds different - crisper? than the VT4, but may lack some of the full low end. I get the impression that the (more expensive) VT4 does have higher quality sound. There's also another new voice processor from BOSS with a different set of features, that does have an XLR input and other things.
@@VJFranzK the VT4 doesn't have a number of tricks to its credit but I'm good with 4 vocal tone set ups I end up using These 4 have to be manually made everytime but by now it's muscle memory.....I think it has a more superior chipset the the E4
@@VJFranzK but if you don't intend on using a mic preamp, then another ideal solution could be a battery operated headphone amp which would give you more louder listening to the vocal effect
@@SunnyBeeRandomTuber You can save favorite settings to the preset buttons, right? But there isn't a way to set the VT4 on "no-key" Chromatic mode, is there? (I'm not into musical notation, so I often don't know what key I am playing in.)
(With this particular gear, the E4?) Thanks! - The reason is: I've spent a lot of time using the VT-3 and 4, while most people demonstrating it aren't used to "singing into the effect"
At least for the auto pitch, if you hold it down and adjust the Formant slider you can set how much of the effect goes through from 0 to 100
Hi, can i ask you if you can do a video where you explain how to connect korg electribe emx1 with korg electribe 2? Thank you❤
Just use a MIDI cable with the correct adaptor! I guess I should indeed do that, because I got a new ESX!

This is basically the only good video that has ever existed.
