OMG the "No part" gets me a lot! I just started a new balloon business as well on my town and since it's a small town it is really hard to find people interest in that kind of product.

I definitely thought about going into my neighborhood to offer my services. With “Free Decor” are you allowing them to pick colors and styles?? Do you have a limit on what you display or what they can ask for?? I know you want to show how fancy you are but that definitely looks like hundreds of dollars in “free decor”

it was a collaboration, with ability for us to showcase our work and leave marketing materials (grow brand awareness. just approach people/company that you would like to collaborate with and offer a solution to their problem (in our case - beautify the space for them)

When you initiated the set ups as a collab did you mention it was a comp this time but going forward would be a hire per job? just curious. Everyone is happy to get free work but always hesitant when pricing gets involved. Hope to hear back :)
yes, this can be one of the agreements, or you can agree to leave your business cards/brochures and have them promote you.. This is not a donation, it's an investment! :)
