Great analysis on the swing path. Makes so much more sense when you consider the racquet to be a heavy ax. You would never allow the ax to swing in that final position. Great visual for the swing path.

Excited to be helping Ben. It's great he's allowed me to share our videos with you all.

I learned a ton from this video. It's great to use the comparison with Roger and the efficiency that Ben is losing by not swinging through or abruptly stopping. Also the pronation vs. the wrist was very helpful. However, I'm not going to try and swing an axe or use proper queen's English.

Excellent video. It was edifying seeing the progress over time with your student and illustrating the point you're major with both Federer and an axe!!

Great lesson. I have the same finish and I have always tried to fix it like you are coaching. For some reason, it's more natural to use more wrist in my pronation. I will try to remind myself not to.

What's your take on the abbreviated follow though that Pete Sampras used to use?...his elbow would stall right near his head long after the ball was gone. I call it the high elbow finish...

But he still finished by bringing his arm around his body, right? I'm looking at this: ruclips.net/video/vzaXFny9Tg4/видео.html

Never underestimate the ability of serving with bad technique to mess up your wrist, and once it's damaged you'll never get it fully back to 100%...
