As a Marine Biologist, I'd like to say open-ocean fish-farming is hazardous, but aquaponics or land based fish farms like in the Land would be great. Just too expensive for most companies that want to make a quick buck and label it in a guise of sustainability. I was studying the impacts of salmon farms on shark reproduction in Tasmania for my PhD. Living with the Land has always been my favorite ride. I almost wish I didn't know it was coming from the vlogs, so I'd have been even more surprised ;)

First, great video, excellent font choice. Only critique was Dan’s overuse of “fleshy”. As a character cynic myself those interactions were PHENOMENAL! Kudos to those cast members, Mickey introducing himself to The Vlog Crew had me laughing out loud.
The only Easter eggs I saw you miss is the mailbox in the farm scene. It’s labeled as house #82 which is the year that Epcot opened 1982 There’s also a hidden Mickey (spelled out name) in the lab.
This video is great! Listen to the Land / Living With the Land is one of my favorite rides! It's so relaxing, you learn so much. I have to ride it every visit. I did the Behind the Seeds tour on my honeymoon. I love seeing the ride at different seasons, different times of day. You want a real trip ride it in a thunderstorm, I was riding and I swear The Land got struck by lightning the thunder was SOOOOOOO loud. The ride seriously makes me want to star a hydroponic / aeroponic garden. That extra magic they gave you with the hats and the card at the end was so amazing. That's what Disney is about, the little bits of magic that make you feel special and like a kid again.
We enjoyed watching. We have not tried Garden Grill. That is on our list of the restaurants to eat for our next trip. From one Disney fanatic to another, have a magical day sprinkled with pixie dust! 🙂
This is my EPCOT dream day. You guys are super fun. As for the creepy pasta, that is a replica of Walt and Roy’s childhood bedroom. And the whole front of the farmhouse flips upwards so they could decorate the rooms. Thanks for a wonderful diversion.

Fun fact: the banana we commonly eat today is known as the Cavendish banana. The plant is named for a Duke of Devonshire in England. They have a banana tree growing in their greenhouse! That fake banana flavor? Yeah, that’s how bananas used to actually taste! Those bananas, the Gros Michel bananas, were nearly killed off by a fungus known as Panama disease.

So Land fact - my parents left me in stroller parking once at the front of the Land Pavilion :P they parked the stroller, went in to the pavilion, and then realized that neither of them had me. They immediately went back out and found me at 2 1/2 years old just chilling still in the stroller :P And note they remembered my older brother but left me by accident

Uncovering the identities of 'tomato girl' or 'blueberry kid' and inviting them to an event could captivate fans. If they are still alive, being in their 40s or 50s now, it would add depth to the ride's history and offer a unique connection for visitors. We are almost reaching the 45th anniversary.
Ever since I was a kid, I've been trying to figure out who these individuals are. Now, at 34 years old, I'm still curious. Neither Disney nor any documentaries have ever mentioned the people in these iconic pictures. They are, however, an integral part of Epcot's history.
Also, I apologize if there was any confusion. From what I understand, the kids in those pictures are probably in their 30s or 40s now. I absolutely love this park, and its rich history means the world to me. Even small details, like a couple of photos that many people pass by and forget, hold more significance to me than a character appearance on any other ride.

Bananas are at 150 million tons. Apples are at 76 million tons. Oranges are at 73 million tons. Mangoes are at 57 million tons.
This video and the connected vlog on Please Stop Vlogging made me develop a deeper appreciation for The Land and indeed Living With The Land. When I eventually return to Epcot, I'll definitely take some time to experience each of the pavilion's attractions Sky pickles!

Backstage area on Wonders of Life, if you see the surveyors doing their thing....try to score a special survey, that's how I got to be interviewed in that cool room. Wasn't allowed to take photos as they had some cool maps bc they were getting feedback for a new resort in 2010(?). Scored a $100 gift card, free snacks,AND a rare backstage glimpse!
Hi Dan, I discovered that Domino's Pizza has a lot of costumed characters. Their mascot history in general is incredibly interesting. First there is The Noid, Domino's first mascot [as far as we know], who had a ton of costumes and is sometimes still used to this day. Then there's Donny Domino and his girlfriend Dottie Domino. They were used in 1993 and 1994 as part of the "Somethin for Nothin" slogan, though I think they may have actually been used longer, as Donny shows up on a 1995 Coca-Cola telephone card, and both Donny and Dottie were in a few Japanese Domino's Pizza ads. Their designs are very cute and unique, and are very fitting for Domino's. Donny has had a variety of costumes over the years, but some of the recent ones look awful, and they dropped Dottie, his GIRLFRIEND. Which angers me to no end, especially since female fast food mascots are already rare. There was Bad Andy, who actually DROPPED sales, and therefore had no costume [as far as I know]. Finally there's Danny and Toni, two cartoon humans. I feel like that could be a pretty interesting mascot/costume evolution video, considering the multiple mascots, as well as the crazy stories surrounding Domino's. There's various compilation of Noid's commercials, and one compilation of Donny Domino's commercials, although the Japanese Donny ads are seprerate videos, and I highly recommend checking them out. On a Disney related note, and I know they may not do this due to the film being a failure, but I hope the Disney Parks bring Taran and Eilonwy back to the parks on October for the 100th anniversary. Frankly I feel since this is the 100 anniversary of Disney, they need to go bigger and crazier with the characters they are using.
Maybe just as part of the attraction, farming alligators for their meat generally tends to be a tenuous practice. Not a bad one, I've had alligator before and it's pretty good (similar to chicken n pleasantly chew), it's just not the easiest meat farm to run bc of how hard it is to properly care for the animals.
