    just came from the jdub video, man i can tell you're well educated in hoops, great to see some quality content coming out even if it is only about thunder players (i'm a fan of most of them anyway)

      Happy to have you! Thanks for watching both vids and I’m glad you enjoyed them.
      Who knows? Maybe in the future I will test out some videos on players who aren’t currently on the Thunder 👀

    The wild thing is, if you watch OKC games, there’s many times where Chet will seemingly make a block but it won’t be counted as a block. It happens multiple times a game in multiple games. It won’t show up in highlights or be tracked, it’s just something you have to see live in game. It drives a lot of us fans crazy. Great video

      They do the same to Wemby. It’s a weird thing. He will have 5 blocks but the stats will say 3 and your like really? “Thought he had more than that”

      also i think his fouls to block ratio is okc bc he still throws their shots, layups or dunks off.

    Awesome video! As an OKC fan I was so excited for this season before it started, and a lot of that had to do with seeing Chet play. As a fairly new (since early last season) OKC fan, at first I hadn't even heard of Chet, and just loved the way OKC played together as a team, and were just really fun to watch. By the time Summer league came around last year, I was hyped to see Chet play, and then was so excited to see the awesome team I watched all year last year with the addition of Chet. I've gotta say, I'm blown away at Chet's skill and even more so with his professionalism and maturity. The guy is a defensive machine, and his shooting and ball skills are way above the norm for a guy his size. The way he can drop spin around an opponent, and cover like 5 metres in a second is incredible. Most of all though, like you expertly explained in your video, it's the way he turns his blocks into a transition play which is the most impressive. I will not be surprised if Chet wins MVP one day.

      Thanks for watching! I'm right there with you fingers crossed he stays healthy all season. Outside of his injury last year, Chet hasn't had a ton of injuries in his career. Hopefully he can be a 70+ games played per year player for his career.

    Great video! I love this in-depth break down of Chet's game. Brings back happy memories of when my dad and I used to watch basketball games together before he left and never returned. Up until this moment, my cereal has been dry. Your video gave me the courage to leave the house and get my own milk. Cheers to you Michael on Sports!

    People who don’t watch the Thunder regularly don’t realize it’s not just the blocks , he constantly just messes up the opponents possessions bothering shots, opponents also don’t want to drive because they know they will get blocked , Chet’s stats are impressive, but the stats don’t tell the whole story.

    I wonder how many blocks the NBA has missed. I'm sure its over a hundred
    Because I know it took awhile I subscibed

      If I had to guess I would say around 15-20 maybe just off blocks that were called fouls/plays that weren't reviewed, but Chet definitely has more than what the stats say!

    Chet does foul more than he should but a lot of them be bullshi, i watched most of his games so far and he had to tell the coaches to challenge so many calls because the refs gets it wrong a lot of times

  • @Vasco224
    @Vasco224 11 месяцев назад +1

    He also caused so many missed layups and putbacks and force drivers to pass the ball out
