Yooooo, people actually dislike Pierce the Veil? That's honestly mind-blowing. Vic's voice can get "interesting" at times but it's the perfect style for this music. Both the drums and guitar are top tier and the bass never slouches. Wow
They're okay. I think A Flair for the Dramatic was their most interesting record because it was diverse in it's musical influence. I feel like after that they just cashed in on the angsty teeny bopper demo who were all into power chords and breakdowns in the late 2000's. After that the lyrics just became way too try hard. Like Vic was trying way too hard to be poetic. And every song is about girls. I honestly hoped they'd develop and mature and become more artistic tbh.
@@mowgli6345 teenage girls? quoting you, thats ur opinion. i have mine and i would also assume a lot of other people think other wise. idk what u mean by more artistic either? rap ? rap is shit. opera ? uhh you need help. different lyrics ? i think these lyrics are good and a lot people can relate.
i just discovered them 2 weeks ago , PTV and Sleeping with Sirens just destroyed my spotify top listened artists in a span of 2 weeks PS: i only knew about My Chemical Romance before 😂
song about a woman cheating on a guy and getting pregnant with them whilst he was on tour these mfs: "if he wanted to he would, if he wanted to be there for you he would, if he wanted to do something nice for you he would, if he wanted a relationship with you he would, but if he's not like dump him like all of these boys deserve to be dumped." I really hope yall are joking 💀💀💀💀 some people need to research the song before talking about it (also theres another song about this and its called one hundred sleepless nights I really think yall should check it out)
This song/video is about Vics ex gf whom cheated on him while he was on tour and ended up pregnant, this obviously broke his heart as she was his first love, you know how it goes lol. The irony part of when you said all the guy are giving red flags and should be dumped (I know you guys aren’t being serious) is that Vic is actually a really good guy. He just got married and runs a non profit charity helping people, usually kids, whom have a life altering or terminal illness and help them have a dream day and meet their favorite music artists. Edit. Also I absolutely love your lip color. ❤️
I’m not sure id love PTV if I discovered them now, as a 27 year old but they were everything to me as an extremely depressed teenager. I would be tweeting all these super dark lyrics and everyone’s like “is this weird girl ok? Not gonna ask”Lol so it’s a fair reaction 😂 I still love and support them though and have met them and they were super cool. I always loved that Jeremy McKinnon from a day to remember is screaming in this song.
We need a bayside reaction because they are the best emo band ever and no one is reacting to them. It makes no sense to me because they are consistently amazing and have no bad songs. They are seriously the best emo band ever and we are a cult.
I love this song, “Caraphernelia” by Pierce the Veil. I purchased this song on Rock Band 3 on the Rock Band Network and this song has keyboard support. It goes to an Organ, Acoustic Piano, and to a Synth all in one. The musicality is beautiful. 🙌🏾
aint no way you're gonna shade their hair at 6:35 when you both have the same style lmaoooo. naw back up. im confused you guys said you're in ur 30's in the beginning and then you said you're 16 when this dropped 9:30. it would make you 26 right? hmmmmm..... so what this the truuuth???
Comments here are so weird, but what do we expect, even channels covering emo bands aren't safe havens for our people 😌😌 Ok but to stop acting oppressed lmao, one thing that comes across way less in Caraphernelia is the way they incorporate latin melodies in their music inspired by their heritage and I've never thought they get enough credit for that as they unfortunately just get lumped in as a "big scene band". Just like how MCR doesn't get the credit for how much they were pretty much the last big rock band (maybe Arctic Monkeys came close), I see we're all recommending different tracks but "Dive In" by PTV is a best from their newer material and a prime example of their skill as musicians! Side note/thought, PTV tracks generally have way more guitar wankery and more unique riffs than the other "post-hardcore" bands and can sometimes be structured pretty unconventionally so I've always thought their tracks sound like a pop evolution of progressive metal.
I absolutely LOVE them putting the Latin style in there like in Bulls in the Bronx and Dive In. That's running on the treadmill music! Gets me going every stinkin time. Saw them live last month. They were amazing!
Boneless... all the other bands are just as fragile and in their feels, oh noo this one's singer doesn't have a deep enough voice for you.... In all fairness, having a preference is 100% ok but PTV deals in the same topics everyone else does, and does it with more flavour and the guts to experiment lol, like what you like but calling it "boneless" is just silly and pretentious. You're still just listening to a different emo band here, you get bullied just as much as the rest of us do!
@@sp0ngeb00b7 Btw. Deep voice or high voice dont mean shit to me. Dgd is in my top 3. No one is a higher register than Tilian except maybe Claudio from Coheed. Also, boneless was more of a reference to its fanbase. Meaning uh... you😘

Guys and Girls in their early to mid 30s now loved this shit back in the mid early to mid 00s it was such an amazing time for music!!

i’m only 20 (not even i turn 20 this year) n grew up with this music

Still have my Pierce the Viel guitar pic from 2013 Soundwave Western Australia. I still vibe with that shit...
The difference between "cringe" and "good cringe" is a certain number of years...
that song is amazing, having Jeremy from ADTR on it is just the cherry on the top

I’m close too the same age , and this was my jam over ten year’s ago ……..
Just saying, When We Were Young was incredible, and no other festival even compared to it. One of the greatest experiences of my life. Hands down.
That's not Kyle. That's Jeremy. Jeremy McKinnon from A Day To Remember 🥰🥰🥰
Plot twist, Vic is like 26 in this video. Older than I am now lmao. I feel like that makes this worse, but this song still slaps.
Why is it a problem? Only kids can make this music or look this way? Lol
This is definitely an L take. Getting cheated on/broken up hurts at any age. Hurts just the same at age 10 or at age 30.
This whole album is 🔥🔥

listening to all their songs to make my gf at the time happy.
We was in the same boat but I actually started liking their music specifically bulletproof love
Having the lead singer of ADTR do the breakdown was a genius idea
