- Nakia helps Shuri and Riri Williams escape Namor's wrath by sacrificing a Talokanil guard. In revenge, Namor unleashes a devastating flood on Wakanda, sparking a fierce battle. He then effortlessly destroys the Wakandan Air Guard and floods the Wakandan throne room where Queen Ramonda and Riri are located.
Queen Ramonda bravely swims to Riri and brings her to the surface, giving up her own life in the process. Shuri cries over her mother’s death while Namor tells her that she is the new queen now and warns her that he will return with his entire army to finish the job. The surviving Wakandans retreat to the mountains, hoping to find safety there.

And this is why i prefer this film to its predecessor because the visual effects and set pieces are more refined and authentic. Wakanda looks and feels like a real kingdom this time and Namor’s abilities are showcased with excellent execution. The production value of this film is so lucrative compared to the first.

We see more up-close shots of different areas that function in the city. In first one we only got few high up from above shots of some fantasy land and were told it works. We were only shown how and why it works in second movie.
Wakanda definitely needs a weapon upgrade after this and when Kang comes they'll really need.
They should’ve already had weapons ready to take on such opponents otherwise how are we supposed to believe they’re the most powerful Let alone most technologically advanced Nation on earth? This almost look like a covert insult where they make a Charicature of Africans and have them look like people who don’t even use their resources to their full potential. Hopefully Marvel has bigger plans for BP and Wakanda and planned on making them look THAT good, but maybe they’re taking the wrong approach in how long it takes for Wakanda to finally look like the Most powerful Nation on Earth.

Namor flooding Wakanda was an epic event in the comics
the story in that version was that Namor was one of the omega level mutants chosen by the Phoenix Force for possession, and while becoming a Phoenix Force Avatar strengthened his abilities, it also enhanced his "mental instability", so in a "fit of madness", Namor flooded Wakanda, but Shuri, in the Namor Buster suit, appeared and knocked Namor down, depowering him from Phoenix Force mode

weird fight: actually don't know, very very different fighting styles and abilities. One is a trickster, the other is a powerhouse. But considering what the Hulk did to loki, my money is on the powerhouse.
No because Loki is an agent of advanced magic that he’s honed for thousands of years. He has too many tricks up his sleeve. This guy fell from the bifrost into deep space and somehow wound up on earth.. 🫤 Namor is formidable in his own right but the problem with him is that his source of strength is also his fundamental weakness - water. Take him away from hydrogen and this guy is as threatening as a kitten. Loki could easily separate Namor from water via magic, teleport him away from any bodies of water and Namor is reduced to a fish. Loki is strategic, tactical and swift. Namor is only dangerous within his own territory. In a desert he’d be completely useless.
