Love this! I am the same way with my sd retics. 99% of the time if I open their enclosure they come right on out but if they don’t I just leave them be❤
I always tell myself if I want to handle something to get the cat instead- she loves to be rubbed and held and I have to remember snakes are wired much different

It's the green dome shape toy with the hexagon shape cut outs in it. I've looked at pet stores and online. I'm thinking that maybe I'm searching the incorrect name for it? The roller ball? It s the JW Hol-lee roller ball. I also only handle mine went they approach me. There's always one or two that will come up to me when I enter their room and put their head on my shoulder for their "hug and kiss". Something that they copied from their mother. They have their own bedroom with a queen size heated waterbed(spoiled rotten. lol). There's nice enclosures in their room but the doors are left open so they come and go as they please. No I don't recommend anyone copying me. Oh yeah did I mention they are five 20 foot Pythons? The best home security system. They don't bark.
I've started trying to get my snake to come to me and I think it freaks him out. He normally just starts slithering out if I open something, even onto me but if l rest my hand under the opening, he stops and stares. Like its weird of me or something.

@@elisec9530 when they are out deliberately it is in areas we have snake proofed. We have had one Cornsnake escape without our knowledge, he was missing for 5 weeks and one day he just showed up crawling along a shelf.
