I definitely find the Companion Call cool and uncanny, but why would the robots need it? I have theories. 1: Echolocation. At night or during a power outage, would the robots use this chime to locate their way around the building? In the case of an outage, the robots would probably need to calm (and entertain?) children, or at least make it back up to the main stage before they shut off due to any mechanical or safety issues. At night, the robots have to move around to prevent "Their servos locking up if they get turned off for too long." (FNaF 1 Call) But I would be disturbed being a guard there, hearing a duet-chime of Happy Birthday. 2: Radar. If the robots were separated into different party rooms to entertain several parties at once, then I'm sure they would be able to find their way back. If they were to need maintenance, to shut down, or for whatever reason, their main map of the facility fails, they could use the chime to locate one another and get to a safe area where they can be fixed/stored until the staff are ready, hence the name "Companion Call". I would say that it is to bring one robot to another, but only Fredbear can initiate the call, and they can probably see each other on their primary map. 3: Performing. This defeats the "calling one robot to another" theory, but what if it were used to call the audience's attention? At the beginning/end of the show, the chime could play to alert the distracted audience to the performers. 4: Maintenance. The call system would be used as a testing system that mechanics would use to test all the sounds the robots are designed to make. It might contain a list going through every note, pronunciation of every letter, and this would probably make maintenance a lot quicker.
I believe it to be the last one as they would need to test if Fredbear and Bonnie Bun can hold a conversation with each other, such as the one that appears during the ending of the last video
I think it was a sort of attempt to find their partner, bc we see the Fredbear looking around in desperation, before you hear a sort of response behind you, which is when it notices you're in the direction it needs to go and proceeds to crawl towards you
@@riseandshine5874 "2: Radar. If the robots were separated into different party rooms to entertain several parties at once, then I'm sure they would be able to find their way back" I guess being dragged into the maintenance closet would also make it trigger.
I definitely think it's meant for them to locate eachother, but it seems odd for them to use it around customers since it's out of character (and creepy), so maybe it's sort of a test for a system that would be disguised better in public use? The extra context that the two animatronics are actually "calling" to each other, by using the birthday song, during the crawl scene in the actual video is terrifying. Where was the other one calling from?
No it's actually because of the birthday call that the bonnie suit had a failure. The birthday call caused the bonnie animatronic to have the springlock failure because the endo heard the birthday call. The endo automatically caused the springloco incident due to the companion call.
The fact that the spring lock scene has the realistic movement of when your muscles are crushed to bones you wont be able to move much unlike some other videos where the person just shakes violently in agony 10/10 in details It makes me imagine being in my sleep paralysis except you having constant pain all over your body... unable to move a muscle...
I like how the only parts that move are the body, head and hands. I think the body and head moves as he’s being stabbed in the back and neck and the hands are just gloves so there the only thing he can move.
Honestly I would kill for behind the scenes of older videos, also the sheer amount of detail in the endo’s for something we don’t really see up close is incredible
The Puppet's dialogue reminded me of the "Carmen Winstead" chain mail creepypasta that went around for a while, love seeing these behind the scenes stuff!

STOP IT YA SPOOKE BETCH !
I love the clearer look at the malfunctioning endo scene. Does this alt take confirm it isn't about a springlocked failure suit, then? Just a normal animatronic? Pretty interesting. What a cool video
I believe so, coz later in the video we find out that the happy birthday song is actually a companion call, where the animatronic is trying to call out to bonnie bun. I found this very interesting
@@hally05 The animatronics are trying to locate each other which is even more interesting than if they were Springlock failures. Why do they need to find each other, what do they do when they find each other, why did the Fredbear endo attack the POV camera.
It's possible that the endo is possessed itself as well, or perhaps the exoskeleton and fiberglass portions of the suit are. In that way, alongside the way it seems almost dazed and is clearly moving in a way the endos would never have been programmed to do, it seems it is in conflict between the programming and the possession, or controlled by a mixture of both simultaneously. It's hard to tell, but I do suspect the possession of something messed with the programming in some way, even if exactly how will likely never be known. Alongside this, I believe the screeching sound it produces is a mixture of several audio clips it would have playing from it simultaneously, as this would make sense to how it could do that and signify something overloading its sensors, either from the inside or the outside (though the company in a cover up would likely blame it on the alarm).
That entire animatronic malfunction scene still messes with me to this day. It's just something about that deep saw lead in the final product that (as a musician) gives me chills each time.
I just realized something, the animatronics having that "companion call" (which sounds like Happy Birthday) kind of explains the song being played in parts when the Spring Freddy animatronic was crawling on the floor. I think that was the robot realizing that it wasn't where it was suppose to be and calling his companion for help. I'm sure others have already know this but it's such a nice detail to see when you watch this video after that one. Creepy, yet kinda sad. Loving these reimaginings by the way. You and Squimpus are G.O.A.T.S in this community.
You know someone's good when they make something with custom models and people are so amezed that they dont ask for them. That's what true greatness is, and you achived it
The bit where you see the stage lights through Fredbear's mask (4:39 in this) is honestly a damn good shot. Golden Freddy's most iconic feature is his piercing white pupils, but how do you portray that with a POV shot? Well, like this.
The idea of springlock terrifies me. That entire suit has always seemed like an Iron Maiden to me, and makes me wonder, who the hell would willingly get in that suit unless they were suicidal?
There is a guy on tiktok who legit has been working on a springlock suit. It’s already failed on them once and damaged their arm badly yet they’re still going.
the way yew made sure that human movements could actually be made with the suit on ? so cool. really nice behind the scenes !! hope to see these more in the future !
I just noticed that the animatronics have stained blood from past spring lock failures... the amount of detail and dedication on the models is so fascinating and amazing! love to see more in the future, keep up the great work!
Oh you are right. Here a comparison Steel wool: bad character writing and inconsistencies, bad story telling that wastes time and takes to long to get to the point, retconning a whole bunch of sh$t (like burntrap ending), forcing characters like William to be a completely different person from previous games. Battington: respects audience by taking feedback and improving on his work and taking time, tries to keep a constant storyline and continuity, zero retconnings, can change the lore to be whatever he wants because it’s a au not a offical sequel, understands what characters like William should be like and keeps him accurate to both canon afton and squimpus afton, great writing and characters, amazing designs, actually being scary as sh$t
@@Battington Hey, Battington. I have a question. What does “Companion Call” mean? If there was a power out, would that be how the Animatronics communicate or signal eachother to a safe area?
If Battington gives permission, it'd be awesome to see a game with these same models and jumpscares, with the post-night sequences having you go through the building to the exit, with some other threats to kill you even after the night is finished.
I would honestly love to see this done for the next episodes, or even episodes of Harmony & Horror. Behind the scenes stuff has always interested me and I would love to see more of the inner machinations of these episodes.

I've been really enjoying your FNAF animations a lot. It's hard to find true horror content that isn't just excessive gore and cheap jumpscares. So many points of this series have been genuinely unsettling. I personally really like that you added the shell to the endoskeleton to the birthday song scene. It makes it creepier, both by making the model more uncanny and adding an extra layer of mystery. Is it just a malfunctioning endo? Is there a springlock failure victim in there crying out for help? (sure that question is answered when it attacks, but it's still something i wondered when I first watched) Also, knowing now that the birthday tune is supposed to be a call between Fredbear and Bonnie somehow makes it creepier. Keep up the great work!

the way you animated the malfunctioning endo scene is so, so, so good. i love animatronics in general. of course it's because i grew up with fnaf, but it sparked a real interest in the engineering and artistry behind it. its face is innocent and the movements are just simple and restrained enough that it feels like an entirely believable theme park animatronic breakdown. scary shit! good work :) EDIT: CHIPPING IN AGAIN TO SAY THE FUNCTIONING CYLINDERS ON THE ENDOS FILL ME WITH JOY

The technical work put through this is amazing.

5:37 I love how the video went from spooky cut scenes to just this
4:40 ah yes the floating fredbear head
@@tannergatto7633 exactly! This scene has us asking so many questions it's great!
@@ultmateragnarok8376 were there cameras in its eyes or something? Because I'm pretty sure it had plastic eyes that were painted.

That entire animatronic malfunction scene still messes with me to this day. It's just something about that deep saw lead in the final product that (as a musician) gives me chills each time.

i love how we just get traumatised only to get more than a minute of an endo, fredbear dancing and a leg getting jiggy
It's interesting to see what goes on behind the scenes during the production of these videos.
It’s pretty interested to a see masterpiece behind the scenes.
@think differently no
I love how you explain the faceplates and springlocks from SL. Perfect
confirmed footage of fredbear dancing on tape at 6:00
so scary i almost died 😱
I just realized something, the animatronics having that "companion call" (which sounds like Happy Birthday) kind of explains the song being played in parts when the Spring Freddy animatronic was crawling on the floor. I think that was the robot realizing that it wasn't where it was suppose to be and calling his companion for help. I'm sure others have already know this but it's such a nice detail to see when you watch this video after that one. Creepy, yet kinda sad.
Loving these reimaginings by the way. You and Squimpus are G.O.A.T.S in this community.
This was great, but we all have to agree 5:36 - 6:19 were like the scariest parts ever 😰

You know someone's good when they make something with custom models and people are so amezed that they dont ask for them. That's what true greatness is, and you achived it
crazy how these guys are so dangerous yet you make them appear funny while they're dancing
As a suicidal person I wouldn't go in that, that's just a bad way to go.
There is a guy on tiktok who legit has been working on a springlock suit. It’s already failed on them once and damaged their arm badly yet they’re still going.

The fact that battington is making better lore than steel wool is hilarious
Oh you are right. Here a comparison
Steel wool: bad character writing and inconsistencies, bad story telling that wastes time and takes to long to get to the point, retconning a whole bunch of sh$t (like burntrap ending), forcing characters like William to be a completely different person from previous games.
Battington: respects audience by taking feedback and improving on his work and taking time, tries to keep a constant storyline and continuity, zero retconnings, can change the lore to be whatever he wants because it’s a au not a offical sequel, understands what characters like William should be like and keeps him accurate to both canon afton and squimpus afton, great writing and characters, amazing designs, actually being scary as sh$t
this dude made dancing endo, ofc it's better
steelwool does not make the lore. blame scott for the new shitty lore
Woooooooooooo, I have a question about the posters are you ever going to make them metal instead of paper?
Ooo I don’t know if crowdmade can do that but it sounds cool.

Battington: makes one of the scariest vhs tapes ive ever seen*
Also him: Fredbeer touchi his ass BRRRRRRRRR
If Battington gives permission, it'd be awesome to see a game with these same models and jumpscares, with the post-night sequences having you go through the building to the exit, with some other threats to kill you even after the night is finished.
Isn't fnaf + exactly that?
EVEN BETTER, LET BATTINGTON MAKE A GAME LIKE THIS, BUT YOU CAN EXPLORE THE PIZZARIA AND EVEN FIND VHS TAPES WHICH CONTAIN HIS VIDEOS
Maybe make that one fiberglass suit crawl around

Your videos are so good! So scary and creepy but in the best way, and not with cheap scares either :)
I would honestly love to see this done for the next episodes, or even episodes of Harmony & Horror. Behind the scenes stuff has always interested me and I would love to see more of the inner machinations of these episodes.
I hope that we can still get H and H. For now, this recreation is pretty faithful to the original tapes!
How lovely. The animatronics dancin.
Always wondered how their made.it’s so interesting to see how something supposedly friendly but actually something really creepy come to life it’s really impressive.
Am i the only one who apreciates how detailed is the Endo for them?

Yes, perfect to live five nights.
This is great and I loved the fredbear bite part, it just looks so cool and gives me vibes of fnaf 4
No matter what, moving the IK-rigged model around to the beat of the music is the pinnacle of entertainment. Even if it's a darn piss-yellow bear with an unnecessary amount of teeth.
Seeing the endo skeleton without the shell is rlly cool, I love behind the scenes videos they’re always so interesting, especially seeing scrapped stuff!
Awesome work that video scared the hell out of me
The amount of details is astoundingly incredible! The pistons of the endo actually move as expected for a real animatronic endo!
the amount of planning, dedication and effort put into your videos is insane, thank you for creating some of the best analog horror ive experienced, you are so appreciated
The scene where he made the endoskeleton dance was hilarious 😂
I love the part when he’s playing with the models while they have physics applied. Definite tone change.

The fact that you can make 3d animations so realistic is truly amazing. It deadass gave me nightmares when I saw the original product.
4:32 that looks hilarious 😂
I've been really enjoying your FNAF animations a lot. It's hard to find true horror content that isn't just excessive gore and cheap jumpscares. So many points of this series have been genuinely unsettling. I personally really like that you added the shell to the endoskeleton to the birthday song scene. It makes it creepier, both by making the model more uncanny and adding an extra layer of mystery. Is it just a malfunctioning endo? Is there a springlock failure victim in there crying out for help? (sure that question is answered when it attacks, but it's still something i wondered when I first watched)
Also, knowing now that the birthday tune is supposed to be a call between Fredbear and Bonnie somehow makes it creepier. Keep up the great work!
This is also cool because normally behind the scenes stuff you need a membership to watch
Dude, I just got super into Maya stuff so this is actually crazy exciting to see! It also makes me appreciate every little detail of these models all the more, I can't even get past shoulder articulation and you're over here making these things that just LOOK unsettlingly alive.
Thank you, fellow bat enjoyer!

I will miss these remake tapes so much, thank you battington
the way you animated the malfunctioning endo scene is so, so, so good. i love animatronics in general. of course it's because i grew up with fnaf, but it sparked a real interest in the engineering and artistry behind it. its face is innocent and the movements are just simple and restrained enough that it feels like an entirely believable theme park animatronic breakdown. scary shit! good work :)
EDIT: CHIPPING IN AGAIN TO SAY THE FUNCTIONING CYLINDERS ON THE ENDOS FILL ME WITH JOY
