    I've been having this feeling of something arising inside me lately. It is so vivid. As if it is time to start giving something to the world. A gift. Whatever it may be. So I just have been taking a shower thinking on this, crystallizing the idea, and after the shower I just turned on this video of yours and here you are speaking so genuinely about giving our ideas a try. I think this one was the final encouragement for me to actually try and see what happens. I thank you for what you are doing in general and for this particular message. Thank you.

    The compassion that INFP's have for INFJ's is just a beautiful thing. It's so important to be in touch with FI so this is a great video. I went 40 yrs not being in touch with my own feelings and medication helped me. Now I am running off more cylinders. It definitely helps one to understand people better when you not only feel your own emotions deeply; but can understand them and where they are coming from

    Thank you for helping me feel less alone. I’m so aware of the negativity of humans on the planet. Maybe I can change it by sending out positive energy. Compassion for the universe may help. I must start meditating to protect myself. I agree about avoiding the news. I actually feel the pain in my stomach when I see someone hurt. If it happens in a movie I feel it. If it happens in front of me I feel it. Maybe I need to form a psychic bubble around myself. Hey, is that possible? That would be great! I’m off to find out 😊

    GOD YOU ARE SO RIGHT ON WITH ALL THE TIPS AT THE END. I am burned out but I don’t always understand how or why. I just think I can keep going without ever slowing down and taking myself into account.
    I’m feeling disconnected… just wish I didn’t have to work through it. Life feels like it’s on hold and I’m squirming to get it moving again. I’m trying not to self-sabotage as a way of purifying myself, my path and intention but it’s hard not to light the match. Yes, sense of many things I’d like to do with the awareness that I can’t do all of it at once at the same time without definite clarity it’s the right path. Write book, pop out a kid, PhD, travel, home base, read, and create. Live here, live there… it’s just a lot.
    I stopped watching the news and listening to my mothers doom stories she regurgitates for drama in order to protect my mental well being.

    This is the single most compassionate INFJ video I have ever watched. You heart is really showing! 💕
    One note I’d like to add is that I believe many, if not most, INFJs are raised in households where they were expected to meet unrealistic standards and also tend to the feelings and moods of their parent(s) or someone else in the family; hence their struggle to identify their own feelings, stop attracting self-centered people, and move forward with ideas (because the fear of failure is so strong). Do you have any info on the common family dynamics that most INFJs grew up with, if any?

    When you mention “draw a line” it seems like you’re not realizing that the “door slam” is that line in its most extreme, some mature infj can door slam on specific topics. I find that in my case, I can separate topics (politics, science, theology etc) by person and decide who I will or won’t engage with on the topic. This saves me a lot of energy

    I need to find people who are aware of themselves and The consequences that they themselves pay, as well as forcing everyone around them to pay by, not knowing how their behavior and their habits and their patterns affect people around them people that have to live with them and put up with them. People have to work with them or study, or collegian with them oh my God, I want to find people who are respectful of themselves and respectful of other people not just trying to always be in the freaking spotlight like let everybody have the conch, and how about considering other people when you are in public, or in a shared household, always thinking of themselves just never ever taking any opportunity just to be polite I think it’s a big big huge void in this world just because people just choose to think of themselves all the time you know whether it’s like leaving the toilet seat up or leaving the plate on the table for someone else to have to put away or leaving a paint can in the hallway or some other object, so that others can accidentally trip over it because it’s right there in the middle of the walkway and cleaning up after yourself even if you go to a restaurant and get served, let’s try and be mindful that the server has to clean your mess and if you’re got kids and they got down and dirty with liquid and drinks and food and everything on the table because he has enough to the server, who works very hard just to take care of your dining needs and comforts. Least you can do is not be a pig. Let’s open the door for the guy behind you. And let’s start putting the shopping carts back in its place just put it back. It’s not that hard. It’s just leaving it in the same condition as it was I’m not even asking to go even further to like make things better than it was but damn at least don’t leave it shittier than it fucking was that’s what the fuck I need.

  • @TyGee777

    I didn't watch the whole music video but I watched enough to understand. I laughed because its exactly where i find myself these days😂. I said this to myself (earlier today) "it all starts with self," to be able to help others be their better selves. When I dont speak or voice anything, including my feelings, people are comfortable, blind, willfully ignorant and reject growth, yet, they expect me to accept them as they are without any accountability. When I tended to myself properly, find my voice and express myself and ESTABLISH BOUNDARIES, people find themselves uncomfortable around me, envious, jealous and have called me harsh and insensitive, for being blunt with people. It didn't matter how I communicated (gentle or firm) they'd find something to say about it, but in the end, the verdict was as I said, and the situation plays out to the T. 🤦🏾‍♂️
    Now that im on the other side of this thing (drowning in my sorrows), the same people who saw me in a different light (healthy state) are comfortable and borderline delusional. 🤦🏾‍♂️. So, at this point in my life, im going to rise, become stronger, and try to never let myself get this low ever again, if I can help it. All I strive to do is be my best self and hope those around me would want to do the same but now that I know, at my worst, people will watch me wilt away and die, its imperative that I rebuild and become, despite what people say or do and maintain my postion "come hell or high water," I will remain standing. Lesson(s) learned. 😊 Thanks bruh.

    I would like to thank you for this handful of thoughts. Your insights are seem well put together in a sort of neat web and that is very appealing to me. As for the reference to one's own feelings here, surely each INFJ has to put in a bit of conscious effort because, although they occur as in everyone, in our case they are not obviously "readable/ legible". Our world is to a large extent derealised and depersonalised - often as if we were external observers of our own lives. Our own ego is often experienced as a "third party" in this arrangement. There is a need to put on "filters" - and there is a clear message of that in your statement - to separate them as genuinely "own", but we will still look at them with some suspicion. Some things need to be trained, unfortunately, because they were not 'factory pre-packaged'.
    Warm regards. A channel worth subscribing to.

I know it’s because of the childhood trauma I’ve survived, that when I work out the details of his sickness, I feel that I’m working out what I went through, but it puts me in the vibration of the victim instead of the survivor that I am. I noticed when I read the VC Andrew’s books, it retraumatized my well being . This video and videos like these have really helped me to understand myself. Thank you

    Thank you so much for this video! It's exactly the insight I need right now. I'm struggling so hard because of your second point of trying to start a business so I can do the type and quality of work that I need to do. Things are stalled and I don't know how to unstall it and it's putting me into an emotional tailspin. My husband is an INFP and originally I found your videos to find the language to explain to him what's going on and how he can help me but he's also got his own stuff going on so I sent him to take our kids camping so I can do what you mentioned in point 1 of tuning into our own feelings.
    That is not easy because Ni and Ti keep getting in the way. I feel stressed and anxious and my Ni/Ti keeps demanding I rationalize it for the purpose of repressing it so I can get back to work on my Ni goal which again is murky and stressing me out and Fi is screaming at me to hurry up and get my crap together and well that's the loop.
    As I was watching this video I had the Gaza live feed playing in the background and turned it off. That is a great point about being more deliberate about the information I'm taking in. My ENFJ sister suggests these hard-core news things to me which I find interesting but it hurts my soul in a way that it doesn't hurt hers. I also have me media "totems" that I use to self soothe almost so much that I get teased for it but you explained well why I keep going back to it.

    I have learned in my experience as an INFJ that it is necessary to be my own best friend. In moments when I need to be alone to recharge, I use that time to enjoy myself as myself. Being around people is like being dressed up in your best clothing. But being alone is like taking off those uncomfortable jeans and slipping into a comfortable pair of sweats. When there is no one around to attend to, I attend to myself. To come to this point, it was necessary to observe myself objectively and admit and accept that I am just as deserving of the love and care I give others. I also understand that others may not be able to give in the same way. Also, though at times I feel overlooked, it's not necessarily that I want the same attention and recognition I give extended to me because it makes me uncomfortable. I am happier being the giver. What I want is recognition from time to time. Someone telling me, "What you told me six months ago really helped. Thanks" is like winning an Oscar. What I would tell other INFJs is to view your future self as a friend you live with who you never see. If you take care of your future self, they will reciprocate in kind 😊.

    Trust me INFJ boyos, do everything you can to not suppress your feelings, cus I did it so much I wasn't capable of having the emotion of anger till age 25. I was even somewhat proud of it, like "hey look at me I never get angry"... and now I suddenly have an autoimmune illness and problems with my heart.
    That happens cus all that stress energy has to go Somewhere, so better let it out in a healthy way as much as you can and suppress nothing.
    *Fun fact: We don't really get influenced by the actual opinions of others around us, even if the 5 people we hang out with all have the same opinion, we can disagree with them no matter the pressure without them influencing us. But only logically and NOT emotionally.
    Which comes off in this weird way where if I disagree with someone I fully think they are wrong, yet if they don't agree with me I emotionally feel as if I'm wrong. SO my actual logical opinion is A, but my emotions feel as if I don't have the right to believe A until someone agreed with me first. It's a bit confusing cus our logic and emotions contradict one another, as even if we are 100% sure about something logically, our emotions will not feel like we are sure about it until someone agreed with us.
    (Aka our Ti and Fe can be completely opposite at the same time, but because of our outer Fe expression we might look like we were convinced of something, while our Ti is secretly not convinced at all)

    • @midnightsky3782
      @midnightsky3782 11 месяцев назад +2

      I resonated with your take on the clash between the logical and emotional side of holding certain opinions. Glad that someone finally put it into words. It shows up in my preferences. For example, whenever someone makes an invalidating remark on certain songs that I like, then I start believing the same and eventually stop listening to it. I know it sounds like I have no real preference and oddly enough, I rarely feel a strong pull towards things, but that sense of validation plays a part in forming my preferences.

    • @Bobby_101
      @Bobby_101 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@midnightsky3782 I think it's your Fe overpowering the Ti in that instance.
      As usually when we "change our belief" after a negative remark, its usually us feeling ashamed of that opinion because someone criticized it.
      If you pay more respects to your Ti in those moments, you might find out that the other person is actually wrong often and you shouldn't consider their opinion.
      Even if you feel that emotional pull.
