Chat Audio & Game Audio headset options on PS4 (56)

Hi, this quick video shows you the different options you have when you plug in a headset into your PS4 either via the controller or the PS4 console. You can choose whether you want the chat audio (your friends chat) on your headset and the game audio through the TV or you can have both chat and game audio through the headset which is useful if you want to mute your TV and not disturb anyone.

I use the Astro A40 TR, which is a USB and optical audio headset. I would assume that basically the microphone is carried over USB while the actual game audio carried over optical. However if you've never tried Astros and want a cheap headset, I would go with Astro A10. The A10 is $60, yet from trying in the store, it sounds just as good as the A40.
