This didn’t work for me. I had all of the same settings and everything as your video said up until you switched to headphone connected to controller in the output device. I went back in the menu to look at my microphone level and it’s still fucking greyed out.

So my mic randomly started not working, it always did, but now it just won't work even though the headset itself does. When I test my mic level it makes noise when I connect and disconnect my mic, the kind of static noise it always does, but it will not ever track me talking or any sound, not sure if anyone could help but would appreciate it
