It makes sense that you don’t understand Ember’s issue and why she can’t simply communicate what she truly wants, and how those same feelings are so touching for children of immigrant parents or non-white kids
Uh, white kid here and I'm a second-generation immigrant, with both my parents hailing from South Africa and Zimbabwe respectively. This story can be touching for us too because a lot of white kids are themselves immigrants (after all, approximately 21% of U.S. immigrants are white as of 2021), so there's no need to segregate us from everyone else.

Fire and Water can touch without fading away. It just depends on how much of a balance there is between the two. Or what material and the picture the fire is. ngl it kinda bothers me that he gave Ember so much crap when she'd get angry. if she COULD control her anger she would've done that from the beginning when she was practicing running the shop. I think the movie showing a relationship between someone who was raised to embrace and express all their emotions is Wade and Ember, who was raised being told that she WILL be the owner of the shop someday, which gave her no room to choose for herself (on top of the fact that it seems like she may have BPD, which would make it even harder to control her emotions). It's not her parents fault that she couldn't speak up because they didnt realize the pressure they put on her, but its also not hers for struggling with that pressure, she should work more on her anger but that comes with time. AND when Wade decided to confront her, right in the middle of the ceremony when she becomes the owner of the Fireplace, in front of everyone in firetown and her Dad who she was desperately trying not to disappoint? Wade knew of her struggles and anger and still made the mistake of doing that in front of EVERYONE. Thats a lot of pressure to put on her, i think ppl give Ember a harder time with getting angry easier bc shes a woman, bc nobody has given the dad much crap for HIS anger when he gets unreasonably angry about unnecessary things as well.

I think it's most unlikely for Pixar to make any follow-up to Elemental. This film is perfect, just the way it is. And we should cherish it as a stand-alone film so that it still remains a classic for future generations.
This was a good movie, showing different races and cultures. I believe fire and water supposed to be Mexican and white, but I'm not sure. E As for how they can mix, fire and water to get them make steam, so they could make steam babies, that would be like a whole new element.
My crying trigger is the song Leavin’ On A Jet Plane. Doesn’t matter if it’s playing on RUclips, the radio, my mom’s bathroom speaker, or if my mom is singing it. I cry a river every time. Ever since I was a tiny tot it’s had that affect on me and I’ve never understood why. Maybe cause my mom traveled a lot when I was growing up. I would lose the crying game for sure if anyone used that song on my turn to try not to cry.

What do you mean it's underrated? it's literally the most predictable story ever created. We can't even feel emotional about this film, makes us wanna care less about the characters
I worked in a movie theater in high school. This person tried to return a ticket that they bought at a different theater. Another time, this man wanted to split his giant concession order in 2 on the same card because he said he didn't wanna exceed his balance
Maybe they are just not in a fully obvious way. Like the bags of food at the fire store, it has to be either flame resistant or has an element to it that allows them to touch it
This movie conceptually just never landed for me. All water characters are made from water, but not all water is a character. Same for each element. Thats a lot of pressure to put on her, i think ppl give Ember a harder time with getting angry easier bc shes a woman, bc nobody has given the dad much crap for HIS anger when he gets unreasonably angry about unnecessary things as well.
i haven't actually got to see this movie fully till now an i can agree its a good film
“The one time being cancelled is great” 😂
SEB IM STILL DYING FOR YOUR TOY STORY 3 REACTION!! 😂😂😢
Same!
I literally just finished watching Elemental myself :P Love the reactions.
Libanomancy is the ability to scry (read, divination) smoke rising from incense smoke. It's just like reading tarot, runes, tea leaves and palms. It's my preferred preference for scrying
I had a summer job in a chipper and we had coleslaw in a burger and a lady asked would I pick out the carrot !!! I said no and she roared that customer service has gone to the dogs and stormed out, only in retail
It feels like im watching the movie with him, love the vids
All the fire people are anger from inside out and all the water people are sadness from inside out
i went into this with no expectations, and was pleasantly surprised. it even made me cry at the end -- so touching. He did take some time to grown on me, but otherwise I loved it.
0:25 I've heard fire CAN go out if it's cold enough.
i hope they make more in this universe, like you said we only got such a little glimps of earth and wind
They're Korean and white - though it makes sense to feel/see resemblances with any interracial couple
I just get so excited whenever I see your videos on my notifications 😊💖
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS, i remember scrolling through all your vids just to see if you already reacted to elemental !
I am loving the new channel profile!
Noooooooo you skipped my fav cryable moment, the father daughter bow at the end 😭
12:14 I got an ad with the PERFECT timing to cut Wade off after he says "HOLY-!!!" before he could say "-DEWDROP!!!" Hilarious! (It was a Coca-Cola ad, btw.)
Adding to the other commentaries, I recently found out the director is Asian and his family were immigrants and he put part of his story into the movie
At the seven minute mark "Free haircut" got me SO HARD 🤣🤣💀
12:04 HAD ME CACKLING AHAH
Ok just star-ting on this video and you're already popping off on them puns lmao. Really sparked a flame in me😂😂❤ you earned yourself a sub my man they b fire XD
Edit: ok the fact you actually grabbed a prop for the match joke was ashtounding😂 thank you for the laugh that was a good one~ glad to have found a kindred spirit haha
I think the reference for the apple picking could of been Adam and Eve but I could be wrong lol so ya know it’s just referencing hanky panky time 😂
Dammit, I wanted to see you react to the bowing scene at the end
The cloud named Gale kind of reminds me of the wind spirit from Frozen 2, which is also named Gale by Olaf.
4:56 The little earth guy says "An act of god, or an act of _CLOD_ ?" cause his name is Clod XD
I need some seb right now. Thank you youtube and Seb
Can't miss a seb upload.
The way he went back in the chair
In the original ending Wade and Ember came back with their son made of steam
Love the new logo
he said holy dew drop oh and pruning means to remove leaves and branches, so basically they were taking each other's clothes
Am I the only one who tends to question why aren't the materials made out of elements too?
Maybe they are just not in a fully obvious way. Like the bags of food at the fire store, it has to be either flame resistant or has an element to it that allows them to touch it
For some reason this movie makes me want to drink water
Your shock at the hanky panky line 🤣
THE GOAT IS BACK 😭😭
"The pipe squished me all out of shape" 💅🏽
The Hanky Panky Part Always Gets Them Everytime, Including Me
You missed the ending which is the most important part
Surprised he is more into water than fire in this
everytime you post, my day gets better
Watched this movie yesterday and now this gem of a reaction is here. 😭✊🏼🌻
I've Seen This Movie Last Year Before I Loved It
OMG yes ive been waiting for this!! cant wait to see how you react
Я не могу... Ваша харизма просто шикарна! Кажется, я даже влюбилась...🥰
This movie conceptually just never landed for me. All water characters are made from water, but not all water is a character. Same for each element. Are the houses and infrastructure of this city not made from the elements? I just couldn't understand it. Thank you for watching it so I didn't have too! hahaha
always makes my day better when seb posts!
I love it this movie, is pure cuteness
12:37 I think it’s supposed to be like a couple feeding each other with fruits, it’s intimate, silly and a little awkward if you get caught
Sorry but a dad celebrating his birthday alone sounds like a situation he put himself in… alone
love this channel😄
finding out sebs a gemini just broke my heart 💔😭
Why?
9:24 Wait till he learns about water speakers
I went to the theaters to see this. It was great!
I don't know if I'm right about that "Pruning" scene. As a kid, if you take a fruit from a tree that's not yours, adults will scold you for being naughty. So, the two were doing something "naughty". 😏😂
keep these disney reactions coming
Please finish sherek triology and Nimona you would love it, I ask from a fan here in brazil
why were people saying such bad things about the film? This film was incredible!
third time watching this movie in a month
Hoping the next you’re gonna watch “the whale”
I saw this movie in the drive-in theater with my fiance and it was amazing 😊
Please consider watching Moving on your channel. Recommending it just cause I know you'll love it and also because I can't wait to see you cry. That's while I watch along crying, again. Love your reactions. Good to know I'm not the only one crying over animation and/or anime and almost everything else if I'm being honest with my INFP self. New sub here--watched almost all of your videos, I just had to do it at this point. ❤
The original design of there kid was smoke but they decided to delete that scene
sometimes seb goofs and its just too funny...goes from "how is she touching bags of sand and they dont catch fire" to " a 2 year old could figure that out (making all the sand into glass)" XD
My girlfriend *absolutely loves* this movie
