Thank you so much for showing us around Rungtiwa’s family homestead. It’s a wonderful life to have there. I do believe as you that it’s a great life for the twins to grow up going there or even living there and experiencing the farm life. Your world is settling down and the future will be so much better with Rungtiwa and her family to share it. ❤
Lots of fun times ahead
Great video mate. I used to like the old rural videos by the lake and stuff. But looks like you have another rural place to walk around when you like and chill. Especially with that sun shelter spot to have a seat in. I’d love to sit out there at dusk and watch the distant lightning shows. It’s fantastic the way your fiancé’s family have taken to you. Fantastic farm.
I love watching the storms in the distance too mate. Appreciate it mate
So good to see you smiling and happier. Wishing you all the best 😊
Thank you so much Antoninette, hope you've been well
@@RickyIsaan all good thank you 🙏
0:59 those fruits are Thai melons. When they are ripen ready to eat they are soft like honeydew and taste close to cantaloupe. Thai people eat them fresh with sweet coconut milk.
Yes like a Rockmelon I've now figured out lol
Life is pretty amazing ! You go from being more or less alone in a foreign country to have a great life with a new family ❤️❤️
Thank you Nina 😊
Thanks for the farm tour mate and remember if the stick moves it's not a stick Take Care and most of all Stay Safe please
You've gotta come out here one day too mate. Great fun RowdyTrain 😁
That’s really a big set up in the fields, plenty of edibles , RT parents have done an amazing job to make the most of the land - Appreciate the video ✌️😎✔️👍👋🙏
Cheers Ant, something they've build over time. I could spend all day out there, great fun
Rungtiwa,s family are absolutely amazing, the amount of work it takes to maintain a property like that is unbelievable, you and the twins are so lucky to be able to have the opportunity to experience there fabulous life style, sending my love and hugs respect to them. You are a luck man to have been welcomed into that wonderful family.🙏❤️👏👏
Thank you so much 😊
I'm so glad to see you happy and enjoy the Isaan's country lives.
❤❤ again.
Big hugs to your twins 🤗 ❤❤
Thank you! 🤗
The scenery is impressive, but the most enjoyable aspect of the video for me was the conclusion, which featured the sound and the twins' images.🥰🥰🇨🇦🇵🇭
Glad you enjoyed it!
Beautiful farm Rick, Rungtiwa's parents might not be hugely wealthy but they will never go hungry. It's going to be a great location for your wedding. The way the twins were looking at each other at the end makes me think they are starting to realise they look the same? Take care mate.
It's a wonderful lifestyle mate. Abundance of healthy foods everywhere 😋
Apparently that bamboo is good for the digestive system 💩 so the wife says 😅
That one plant was an Okra. There are a lot of older people running farms and gardens here in the US. My mom ran her farm until she passed at 83, and I have a huge garden I tend to at 64, all in the desert. It's called extreme gardening. My daughter stays at a place in Thailand, where she gets to go out and pick her breakfast or lunch, and they prepare it for her.
It's a great help to stay active isn't it
We enjoyed the walkabout mate. Lovely scenery with great variety of edibabe plants, love the bamboo shoots when they are bottled and fermented.
Nice and quiet out there, didn't hear motor bike noise or even dogs barking. Good place to bunker down and relax, thanks for the informative content.
Yes very quiet indeed Pete
Wow Ricky, beautiful lifestyle and farmlife. I can just imagine Dazy and Lilly running around there having so much fun. Wow it's like a dream. You're so blessed with this beautiful family. May God bless you with with lots of happiness and peace in your life. 🙏😘❤️
I can't wait
Loved this video. I'm really interested in a close up view of the rice harvest. I can't imagine how the process goes. Was also cool to see the tropical fruit trees that don't grow in my area. Interesting stuff!
Love to show more of this Renee if it interests people. Maybe one of the funnest videos I've ever done myself
Thank you Ricky showing around rungtiwa family farm always exquisite luscious green very vibrant!
Love Guava fruit always a favourite!!
Rungtiwa parents are beautiful people !!
Spectacular clouds in horizon of thunderstorms coming in !!! ……………🌼🌸💖…………….
You can come pick the tree soon
The place looks so peaceful!
Feels that way indeed
Awesome video Ricky, love to see the beautiful farm and all the veg, your thumbnail gave me a smile, funny picture !😊👍
Glad you enjoyed it 😆
My wishes are with you and your family, i know its tough since its exactly a year now since your life got uprooted. But i am rooting for you and your family. Chok Dee Ricky.
❤️ thank you mate
Beautiful and so peaceful. Thank you Ricky for sharing this farm. God bless you Lily Daisy and Rungtiwa's family ❤❤❤❤

Hey Ricky
Great vlog. My misses loved it, reminds her of their family farm back in Chaiyaphum. Isaan farm life I love it.👍🏻👍🏻🇦🇺🇦🇺

Great little farm and garden,
They can be self sufficient for food.
The twins will enjoy visiting the farm when they get little big bigger
Very true!
Great viewing 😊 beautiful place, Rungtiwa and her parents are hard working lovely people😊.
Nice to see you getting to know about the plants and farming side of things Ricky 😊
Really enjoyed it Vic
What a privilege to be self- sufficient. Healthy way to live. I truly wish you both and the twins a happy and loving future. Your in-laws to be are very kind and nice people. They will definitely look after you and your daughters ❤❤
Thank you Shaya
Looks amazing 😊
It is!
I hear ya mate, growing up in the west big city or in Isan is just two different worlds. Anyhow, thanks for sharing and enjoy life Ricky, cheers mate 👊🍻
Not bad either, but I'd personally prefer this
Awesome Ricky, we grow most of that on our property in Cha-am as well. Always good to have fresh produce to eat.
That's must be great, work up a sweat, then head to the beach ⛱️
@@RickyIsaan no need to go to the beach mate, we have a big pool, even though the beach is only 5 minutes away, I prefer the pool nowadays.
Even better @@robertgroves391
Loved this so much Ricky! I would love to see your mother in law cook 😊
She's a great cook
Wow that's super. nice weather with the all green.
It sure is
It really looks like a beautiful life, being able to go out your own back door and get all the fruit and vegies you need, but I'm sure it's taken a fair amount of hard yakka to establish and maintain. When it's been your way of life forever I guess it all comes together easily, and I have a great deal of admiration and respect for these people❣❣
Definitely doesn't happen easily does it Marg, but great reward when it does
I really like your video Ricky, Land In Rural Thailand is great. October 9th we are coming to Nampong Khon kaen Thailand for half a year I am really looking forward to it. nice with your Thai family and your new fiancé. Greetings from Holland
Not too far from me mate, hope you have a great time
Vietnam hat is the best design because for cooling because it does not sit directly on your head, but above, allowing air to circulate whilst keeping you shaded. That hat you are wearing would be so hot.
Didn't realise that, should've won that. They don't really wear it much out here, Rungtiwa was more wearing it to be funny 😆
Your average Thai can't make enough on just farming, that's why a high % of taxi's and motorbike taxi's drivers in BKK are all from isan. Many young Thai's don't want to farm as it's very hard work and very little profit.
Yes Glen. Not sure I said people can. But it can be a good percentage of what you need, plus it's 2024, isaan has pretty good internet, lots to do
Wow i love the fresh bamboo shoots!! Nice life in the village there!❤
Fun times

Very beautiful & peaceful scenery. I think humans are relaxed and content surviving off the land becasue it has roots in our primal survival skills, it is fulfilling. And a healthy lifestyle.
Definitely right, something about us being one with nature, back to our roots, very settling
Beautiful scenery , Ricky! Just booked my ticket . Flying back to Thailand after spending 5 weeks in Melbs again. Will travel with the girlfriend to Isaan to her familys' farm. This video in particular is a great inspiration for what is coming! Might see you there mate😅!
Hope you enjoy it mate, what province are you travelling to?

It's a very good life living with pure nature a life that many people in Bangkok dream of living 🌾🌱🌿

Great vlog. Food and good health is all you need. Hard work when the weather gets really hot 🔥 😢
Definitely right. Usually early morning and late afternoon is best
Why a beautiful farm, + all that yummy fruit 🍇 🍉🍈 😊
Beautiful and so much fun 😁

Thanks 👍
For the guava they make reusable covers so you don’t have to use plastic.
Brillant idea Thomas 💡

Great video Ricky! Spending time with Runtiwa's parents in their own surroundings and taking an interest in what they do and how they live on a daily basis, is a surefire way to forge a solid long-lasting relationship with them and Runtiwa of course too.
I love it Frank
Okra is so yummy wow so much veggies and land to grow more veggies

Beautiful place and beautiful lifestyle ✨️
Nice farm
Thanks 👍
Bamboo shoots cooked in kaeng som. Yummy. 😊
Haven't tried it yet
That place looks mint 👍👍
With the rice, is it just easier to manage compared to high profit crops?
Also all the soil you see in the videos looks like packed down clay. I never see compost piles, or cover crops being tilled back in or mulched, rarely ferment brewers.
Does the heat make it to hard to do that stuff? To make the ground black rich and loamy
Not too sure. Could be more to do with the amount of rain and rice being such a staple in almost every meal here in Thailand
Was it your future wife parents farm? its very nice green everywhere
Yes, very green
It a bit different to Dandy. I grew up down the road from you in Rowville.
Just down Stud Rd mate
❤👍🏻Understand you & wonderful life for you, soon wife & your children. Maybe you should move out there. 💞💞💞💞
Maybe one day
@@RickyIsaan Dont wait Ricky if you can do it now & yr wife wants to. I wish I had followed my dreams. Too late for me now with ill health. Working the land is so good for you both mentally & physically. ❤️💞💞💞
@wendy-0101 financially I'll be much cheaper living. But in a village there isn't exactly houses for rent. It'll have to be build something. Could build something small and expand. But financially probably not the best move yet
New Live Mate Enjoy with Family, Isaan is Beautiful place - my lady was born in Isaan😊
Lovely part of the world mate
Hello 😊
Hi there 😀
Good 👍🏻
Thanks ✌️
Ricky, do they use pesticides? That is one thing I find hard when I go spend winters in Thailand.
For the rice, yes but minimal. But all those vegetables are organic
@@RickyIsaan that’s great to hear. Since I got cancer then my husband, we try very hard to eat organic. It will be fun to see the girls (when they’re older) on your fiancé’s parents farm learning about the vegetables they are growing. Btw, you look like our premier of British Columbia…..lol….

Wow Rungtiwa's family are very self sufficient with growing so much produce. Always enjoy seeing the rural/farming life in Thailand. Papaya is not my favourite either and Sonia can eat my share of Guava, fresh mangoes for the win. Thankyou to the family for allowing you to show us. 😊

Oh mate.. you should have deleted the part when you try to pick up the fish.. the old lady (younger than me btw).almost stunned the fish in one go. Not laughing promise. Hey, I could not do it either. I was also waiting for the plank to shit itself.. She is a tough old bugger.. digging out those bamboo corn cobs.. lol... Actually, I have a cow near my house.. only she does not produce milk. OK.. no more jokes.. take care.. and pray they build a seven eleven nearby just in case the family tell you to catch the dinner.
Gotta show the good and the bad. I blamed one hand holding the camera but not sure id be much better with two hands anyway lol
