i love dream theater and so as my 14yr old son Renz Metal whos been covering lots of DT tunes lately. Just found out through wikipedia today that this song is a bonus from Awake. i love instrumental music and this is beautiful to me. Thanks for sharing it.
There are bootleg version of you not me etc which are so much better than the one on teh album..then ''raise the knife''..are rare tracks worth listening to
+Creepy_wave045 It can be found on the Japanese edition of Awake. If you listen closely to Space-Dye Vest you can see many related musical patterns and chord progressions. I think this is some sort of part of the song Kevin Moore or the band decided to cut out. Still very interesting though.
Nikolas Markomanolakis Yeah, i noticed that are many relations with the firsts albums, specially Awake. So i guessed it was an old single not released to the public. Anyway, thanks
懐かしさ 悲しみ 穏やかさ 希望
いつまでも聞き続けたくなる
This is so emotional and melancholic.. Reminds me of past good times..
What a Song 😍
This has been by far my favourite Dream Theatre song my entire life. It's really cool to see it now getting some real praise now :)
❤❤

私の心。
色や形で表せないモノ。
音だけが……
音のみが……
This song will play at my funeral.
Fantanstic song
まさにファンタスティックです。私の中でこの曲がドリームシアターのNo.1!
@OctavACoS It's a b-sides, you can find it on the bonus cd of the japanese limited edition of Awake
And on Cleaning out the closet, a bonus Christmas cd 1999
Its like a goodbye letter from Kevin Moore
génial
I hate that it's not on Spotify nor Apple Music :(
It's not on a record. It's on some unreleased material, you might find on 2005 Napster or something

@OctavACoS Look for "Cleaning out the Closet" album of Dream Theater in google.
I received Cleaning out the closet as a bonus cd (each year one as member of the Dutch DT fanclub 😏)
My state of mind at this moment...have to deal with a trauma.....
Why this song doesn't appears in any album? It was a rejected track that was released as a single or something??

This was inspired by twin peaks
Thats true?
Foolishness.
that's not a song that's instrumental composition. in song there's lyrics
If you could link the "song", I'd really appreciate it!
It is a song. I don't care if you have lyrics in a song. Lyrics are verbal poetry and music makes a song.
