The Church as a community must give serious thought to Christians in the church who do not want to have a family or have children even though they are married. They will have reasons for taking such postion. How can the church help them
Hi Sean, thank you for your feedback. For your info, Pastor Gilbert Tan, one of the guests in this episode, is from a Methodist church (DUMC Mutiara Damansara) - but a little different 😉- precisely why we invited him to hear his story 😊
I worship led for 15 years at KL's mega churches and am today no longer in church except the occasional visits because I've found churches so irrelevant and churchy Christians so out of touch with the world. Everyone has become so insular, inward looking, church-growth-centric, numbers-centric, pastor-centric and there is very little authentic and genuine connection with people who will really journey with you. The current model of discipleship within the church echoes the structure of multi-level marketing, prioritizing numbers over genuine connection. This approach feels devoid of love-the essence of the second greatest commandment. To be embraced, respected, and accepted within this framework, one must project an image of being 'cool,' wholesome, and successful, which further illustrates a troubling lack of love within the church community (which again indicates that the church is bankrupt of love).

Please invite pastors from Methodist too. Please bring in more perspective into your podcast

agree
follow Jesus Christ should be winning over the world instead of being isolated and hiding
What about looking into parachurches?

try smaller churches... Mega churches will get what you want :)
gospel of salvation is only for church goer, gospel of the kingdom is different.
