  • Bipolar disorder is often linked to creativity and being intellectually gifted, but is the link real?
Bipolar disorder is one of the most misunderstood and least recognised mental illnesses. It comes in various forms but at its core is a cycling between deep and dark depression and elated moods or even outrageous and flamboyant behaviour. There's a belief that the disorder is linked to creativity and being gifted, but the question is whether the link is real. Dr James MacCabe of the Institute of the Psychiatry in London has been studying that exact theory, and Norman Swan sat down with him for a chat to see whether there's any truth to it. From the Tonic series produced with the assistance of NPS. First screened on ABC2 in Australia.

There are several factors in ways to treat anxiety. One resource I found which succeeds in merging these is Kevs Control Plan (google it if you're interested) definately the most helpful plan that I've heard of. Check out the super info .

High performing at school? I don't think so... I guess a bipolar student usually have excellent grades during some months and then become the worst student ever in the following months...

Look at the bald Dr....with the teased hair.....and the crooked tie. At first I thought..maybe this guy is just covering the bald spot..s..and when I saw the tie, I knew that this guy either must be bipolar manic and trying to convey this, or someone who alludes to his genius by association. Well I've got him beat. Bipolar 1 with a full head of hair and words of wisdom...to defeat bipolar without meds is to overcome ego. He's got a ways to go it seems...so do I for that matter.

Imagine now as those kids are leaving school looking at this blog on RUclips of all the stars in this video and one international actor saying "all of those kids at the age of 16 years may have Bipolar Disorder in them as they had good grades at School" Imagine many parents worries over this one as it takes about 15 years for Bipolar Disorder to be diagnosed as it is a complex mental illness and the kids would not know they have it they would think day by day was wonderful and even don't know about the brake downs as they have Bipolar the illness live up to its name.
