Dude isn't lying. I lived on the same floor in the dorm as many of the basketball players my freshman year, and I got to see first hand all of the talent that frequented our hallways. Those women always went out of their way to support these future stars. Literally, the next year, these men were in the NCAA championship game. Those women were still there supporting, bringing food, etc before NIL deals were even dreamed of.

As a Black man who is married to a foreign born Black woman (Caribbean), what made me see she was the one is she was more concerned about what she could do for me than what I could do for her. My wife's selflessness and her readiness to be an asset to my life was a night and day difference between the Black American women I've been with. This is the piece Black American women miss, they by and large have a completely one sided view of relationships where they believe a man should serve them. It is backwards and it is why they have gone from the most married demographic in America to the least married for the last 50 years.
As a black American man, I can definitely say that Caribbean women have better values when it comes to certain things than black American women do, especially depending on where they come from. The black American community is a matriarchal one, and for that reason black American women feel as if they do not have to respect black men. Black American women believe they do not have to bring anything to the table in relationships.

The question offends because it doesn't dawn on them, they have to do anything in a relationship but have sex (which many also consider a chore). I’m talking to an AA BW right now and it’s been like 3 months. Everything we go on to a date (5 stars by the way) she has never for once offered to pay. Not that I’m expecting to pay anyway but I already expected that. Meanwhile, there is this Haitian beauty lady who has check all the boxes for me and I’m blown away. The difference here is the Haitian lady wears her culture, tradition, moral and values like her life depends on it. My culture values, belief and tradition aligns with hers even as an African. I’ve never seen women rip down each other like they did to these two women. Eventually they couldn’t take it anymore and ended our relationship. Before they did this I asked them why they are friends with these awful people and the answer was the same for both. “Most of us are like this”.
I'm a black woman and agree.There a tendency to base their relationships on other people's ( family and friends)opinions. Those women will never admit to their contribution in destroying relationships.And those same women would gladly be with their man if he approached them.
The average age of young black athletes getting drafted to the big leagues is 21 years old. Before 21 years old is the BEST time young black women will have a saturation of young black men "with potential" in their age group within proximity. Churches, church camps, YMCAs, schools from K through 12, waking up in the crack of dawn to go to practice, running laps all day in the hot sun, 7 on 7 tournaments, running on the football stadium stairs, cone drills, getting yelled at and humiliated by coaches, 5,000 role models, AAUs, military academies, prep schools like Milford Academy and IMG Academy, the freshman grind at Junior College sports and universities, the gym, the weight room, study hall, road trips, very long Amtrak train rides, very long Greyhound bus rides, airplane tickets, team bus rides to away games, lodging, two-a-days, medical expenses, buying athletic apparel, competing for playing time, missing out on birthday parties and holiday events, you name it; with no expectations of a young lady helping you along the way. this is what it takes to get drafted on national television. Unfortunately, She is not passing you the ball while you're shooting in the gym. Instead, women are waiting to sit next to you on draft day.

I don’t like seeing it either, BUT you’re spot on. I went to a D1 football school and those white girls were definitely more savvy. Buying shoes, clothes, meals, etc. Their parents were also supportive and they’d chip in as well lol. This was before college athletes were allowed to make money, so the white gfs were footing whatever bills. They play the long game, so they get those men. It is what it is. With all that being said, we all know there wouldn’t be this level of outrage if we were talking about average earning black men.

I saily it all the time...i was working and going to college. I had to go to work after class and my wife (then GF) was offering to turn in my homework. That allowed me 20 minutes longer to work, and i still could get to work 10 minutes early to clock in. 10 minutes early to work is 50 minutes a week. Thats almost 2 extra hours per check.
