Hey brother. I am happy for you regarding your new ride. Sad to see the WRR go. You should do a video on your views comparing the difference between the two bikes. Did the fun factor change? Are you better now because of the power and weight difference ? Suspension and gear box etc ….. obviously the KTM is a better bike for what you are doing, Hare Scrambles and such racing events but as someone who rides a WRR in a similar manner as you I wondering what your observations are. Not oh yeah this is fantastic because I spent $13,000 on it but a true honest I am having the same amount of fun or the bike is so light and the suspension is so much better that it’s money well spent.

Hey Rich, the WR250R is still in the stable! I will run that bike into the ground and continue to make videos on it. Normally, I let my riding do the talking but, I will definitely take your suggestion into consideration. I've been considering doing a full WR250R discussion video with the list of mods I've done and how they perform. Now I have some insight on the KTM side of things to do a "which bike is best for me" type of video as well. Stay tuned!

I would say it’s obvious the KTM Is better. But people like me would love to hear it from someone who made the leap. I have a 2012 WRR
Motor is stock. All I did was D 606 tires, tubliss, bars , Go Race Full Monty on my suspension. Which to me was the modification that really makes the difference and therefore makes the WRR competitive enough with the super enduro bikes.
I have ridden KTM,S and Beta’s. 350,s I quite frankly loved them. They are clearly better than anything Japan is putting out arguably I guess. But I found them to be extremely powerful and when I got back on my WRR I felt more at home wringing it’s neck than riding 1/4 to 3/4 throttle on the KTM’s etc…. All my buddy’s ride KTMS and betas and Husky.
Finishing up my last reply. I appreciate the desire to do the comparison. Some day I hope to make the leap. But for now it’s my WRR.

Its a great place! Tons of single track, both technical and flowy! Also, legal! Be aware they check your bike registration at the gate now. They also cut some new stuff within the last year or two which is shown in this video.
