Right on Owen! As an American very concerned about the terrible influence of the Trumpian elements in our country,,it breaks my heart to see what the Tories have done to the UK. Given the immense unpopularity ( even hatred) currently among the voters, there is no reason at all for the Labour Party not to run fervently on their strongest hopes. Instead they are either cravenly or corruptly running on empty, discredited Tory positions. This gives the voters no hope at an extremely difficult crisis point. The voters are not stupid and they will not thank Labour for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. This is so sad and makes me so angry, and I am not even British! If there is any way for the people to rudely interrupt Labour’s self-inflicted plunge, could Labour voters demonstrate vociferously in the streets to have Starmer and his cronies removed from their party positions and replaced with genuine Labour members? You definitely don’t need two Tory parties. If something drastic isn’t done soon a rare opportunity will be missed and more suffering for all but the super rich will ensue.

Add the never ending stress by one party on cutting taxes to flatter people into believing they have more money than they actually do, while allowing the uber uber wealthy to keep their vast wealth untaxed. But both goats and sheep persist in electing wolves to Parliament, where they continue to savage their prey with glee 😡!
