- Let's revisit this Stihl BG55 Leaf Blower and Adjust, Tune or Tweak the Carburetor. Big Thanks to everyone who commented on the last video. I am no expert on anything. I do "What I did" videos not, "How to" videos and your comments are most helpful.

Hey Hey Check out: Arch's Garage / thenovajohn
Good one Rusty,a good mechanic knows how to split it in the middle!!I'm gonna check out Arch's.
Thanks Uncle Bob 🐓👍
I was 6 seconds in and pulled up a new RUclips page to look up Arch's Garage, looking forward to seeing some of his stuff. That air cover should be the icing on the cake for that machine!!
Thanks and yes the cover made all the difference in the world
Great video , striving for perfection . I love it . Do the best job that we can . I also believe in educating the costumer if possible .
Thanks I agree 100%
I'm right there with you Mr Rooster! Invariably I forget the kill switch. LOL
I know then I have it flooded
Great job that sounds much better. That lag is gone when you hit the throttle. Awesome as always Rooster!!!
Thanks alot T-Bone, as always thanks for the advice.
I heard to favor the low idle just a little to the rich side. That's what helps it respond quickly when you pull the throttle.
That quick response is indeed what we are looking for
congratulations mate for hitting 1k on my stream as well happy days
Thanks a bunch Ash sure appreciate it 👍
No problem at all u deserve it your video are entertaining
Running much better already, good job Rusty!!
Thanks a bunch Mr. Klem 🐓👍
Anytime Mr Rooster 🤣
Sounds pretty good now Rusty! I hate when i yank my guts out on a piece of 2 stroke equipment and then realize i had it in the off position. Another thing why cant they mark the switch ON/OFF? Its like its a secret! LOL. i need to stop using logic! 👍🇺🇸Roger
Me too fella, thanks for watching and of course thanks for all you do to help support the channel 👍
Very interesting I didn't know that. Well again I learned something again today. Thank you Rusty.
Thanks Bill, glad ya did, that's what make this worth it.

How's she goin'? Nice set up on the carb Rooster. I find the 2 strokes are trickier to set up. Maybe that's just me. Take care!!!

Good stuff rooster. Certainly sounds like it’s running better. I think when you get that air filter cover in, you will be able to dial it right in.

@@TheRustyRooster I've really not done anything. Just share your channel. Its all you brother
hi friend,do your household tools need repair and maintenance?
I emailed Ruby
@@TheRustyRooster It is ok,thank you very much.
👍🏾
Thanks Fella 👍
I put a new carburetor on and can’t find the start spot for the H and L screws . How many turns out for ea. screw? I’ve tried 2,3,4 turns and can’t get a idle point
I start at 2.5 both H & L. run and set High side first then set low side... good luck
@@TheRustyRooster thanks. I’ve tried 2-3-4-5-6-7 lol The spark arrestor’s not dirty
Only runs a couple seconds. My other blower
Husq 125B did the same runs great. Both easy carb, fuel line, spark plug replacement. I’ve even bought a second carb from a different manufacturer. Anyway thanks 👍
@ZPrezton vacuum test and make sure crank seals are good
@@TheRustyRooster ok thanks . I’m guessing you have a video on how? Was running prior to this carb change. Was getting harder to start and still had the factory carb
@ZPrezton sorry don't think iv Done a video on that .
We can provide you with free products.
