The roof rack is 1528 x 1236. It does hang over a little - as you can see from the video. I have been pretty happy with it. Thanks for watching. Please remember to subscribe.
Hi @clayslewis8442 Yes I used some anti rust applying it with a small artists paint brush to try and keep it as neat as possible - not that it matters too much as it is covered up either way. Thanks for watching. Please remember to subscribe.
There was no need to pull the headliner down fortunately. Everything seems to be good at this point with the job. I think I would prefer to bolt the support onto the roof rather than pop rivet it, but if you bolted it you would definitely need to drop the headliner, or at least pull the edges down to get the access. Hi @pili3205 - The best way to measure it is just first fir the backbone piece of the rook rack, measure the distance along the channel where the rubber sits in, and then just add an inch or so extra which they hides under the end of the backbone. This way if the piece you cut looks a bit rough, you can cut a bit more off with the inch extra that is hidden under the backbone. Hope this helps, and thanks for watching.
Mate using bolts would definitely be a lot better I completely agree, although you would have to pull your roof lining down to get it done right so it would be more of a pain of a job. Strangely enough it hasn’t fallen off yet.
The instructions state 67mm you cut at 55mm?
I think you have quite a bit of tolerance in where you can put them. I decided to put them a bit further back. Thanks for watching.
Looks great mate,
What's the dimension of the roof rack flat form?
I just got my Rogue 2023, I think I can do it.
