I am happy with the samsung messages app. I pinned certain impotent numbers on top. It just looks way better than the Google one. I will wait until they remove the app completely. The recycle bin is another nice feature.
4:35 My current issue as a beta tester is now i don't have the magic rewrite option to have a little fun with my text messages (such as Shakespearean, lyrical, formal etc). Google updates and takes away. The current UI doesn't even look like this right now, which is why do many people stay staying Samsung messages. Can't blame them.
@ I live in SEA regions, Thailand. It started to roll out since Nov-Dec last year. It didn’t use the term of RCS though but rather Samsung put it as “Chat Features - chat one on one or in group over Wi-Fi “. I guess it might be available worldwide later or on OneUI7.
Google Messages paired on Web often does not show the OTPs or some other messages due to some security restriction. This can be a show-stopper especially if you don't use RCS other than to block spammers.
I stop using Samsung message about two months now because in my region it look like Samsung message doesn't support RCS. Am currently using Google message instead
Every time I use Google messages, there is no list of options as you show in the video at the 5:20 timestamp. I won't use this unless I can schedule messages.
Message between Google messages endpoints are end-to-end encrypted. Message between Google messages and iMessage are not yet, but Google and Apple are working on it.
I don't care about RCS messages. It means nothing to me.I am sticking with Samsung messages which are by far easier to organize. Also I like that I am able to customize Samsung messages using Good Lock.
After switching to google message. When power saving mode turned on with limit apps on home screen, the samsung message app stays there and there is no option to replace it with google message...only there is option to add google message on that. If you have any solution please reply.
People are whining not knowing that GM is still under beta, i know cuz somehow I'm a beta tester. Seems like ppl are fine with ui 7 being beta but not sum freaking msgn app?
My issue with Google messages and also Google Calendar is there poor UI implementation. I am a huge fan of one-handed use. Google makes you reach to the top of the screen to send a message and also add/delete a calendar event (maybe just one of those, I don’t remember). That’s not smart.
I prefer not using google only a bot would give them every bit of data so google knows what u send to others and things. Ill stick to my foss messenger on fdroid
if downloading different messaging apps as to if you still have Samsung, or just messages, and having Google, C.... tricks are, they won't let you set a different message app or provider by default, just Google crap.

Only if they merged samsung messages interface with google messages functionality
@@patrislatifi3059 that shouldn't happen
Yes these features are fantastics but I don't want to use google untill samsung forces me to use in OneUI7.
Man this is so irritating
I still use Samsung Messages and my carrier thankfully still supports RCS Messaging in Samsung Messages
It will work!
@@ButtaBean420-qg1ud it works like a buttery smooth 😎 😁
@@ButtaBean420-qg1ud same here.
It still doesnt feel polished and most ppl still dont have rcs because they dont want to update their iphones, they have a long way to be like imessage

There must be MFA to enable the messages on 2nd or any other device for security as otps are still sent as sms on our phone numbers.
Stupid Samsung! Just make your Samsung Message app with RCS support already
It’s actually supported RCS quite sometimes already because I’m using it.
@barameekethren1117 Where did you live though? It's not available for everyone. I've never had it available to me

@barameekethren1117 Let's hope! Thanks bro!

Does Google Messages allow you to assign sound themes to an individual so that you know who is texting just from the sound?
Samsung Messages is WAY better. I just wish they would update it with more features
There removing it in usa
Nice Levi's shirt. Where did you get that beeper on your collar?
Thanks, you mean the Mic?
nah we dont need that , im fine with samsung msging app
Google Messages with RCS is not available in my country. I'm not really interested in it because WhatsApp is much better.
Mine either.
telegram >>>
For some reason RCS just doesn't work in my phone. It only worked for a short while.
Yup its not working on mine either, I think samsung will completely remove the RCS support
I stop using Samsung message about two months now because in my region it look like Samsung message doesn't support RCS. Am currently using Google message instead
They used to have a favorites section. What happened to it???? I hate having to search for my contacts every time....😢
Another plus over Samsung Messages here is the ability to block businesses that use header IDs for sending bulk SMS.
How do we enable that feature?
yup spam protection is available
Great video. Love it. Please try to time stamp videos for easier viewing. Thank you.
Thank you for the suggestion, I will keep that in mind.

Promising, but not enough to replace Whatsapp.
Soon it will
telegram is more than enought
One ui 7 should also provide resizing of all icon including brightness and volume icon like ios..
Why messaging app when we have whatsapp in 2024/25
whatsapp sucks, telegram is far better
I use MS SMS Organiser which use AI/ML to categorise messages, transactions, promotions and can mute promotional messages.
Thats a great app
8:22 😂that is the problem.
does it have the delete all message feature ?
No that's a drawback, but i never needed to delete all messages at once.
So the end to end encryption with iOS and Android is fixed now?
Message between Google messages endpoints are end-to-end encrypted. Message between Google messages and iMessage are not yet, but Google and Apple are working on it.
You guys haven't used Microsoft's SMS Organizer 😮
Thats an incredible app, I have used it long ago, I think its time I make a video on it soon
Nha samsung is clean, and there is no need for gmail and backup space not available 😑
I don't care about RCS messages. It means nothing to me.I am sticking with Samsung messages which are by far easier to organize. Also I like that I am able to customize Samsung messages using Good Lock.
I have been using Google Messages on my phone, tablet and chromebook all along.
Good to know 👍
I only want a pure dark theme
Its there...
@danielngove On Google messages?
I don't have that option
How do you get the magic compose button ❓
I am currently on Beta version of google messages, forgot to mention it
Are these on the pixel phone
Yes available on all phones,
After switching to google message. When power saving mode turned on with limit apps on home screen, the samsung message app stays there and there is no option to replace it with google message...only there is option to add google message on that.
If you have any solution please reply.
Hey may be thats how its made on the OS, I don't have a solution for that
In power saving mode at the top of the screen click it and edit and add google messages
People are whining not knowing that GM is still under beta, i know cuz somehow I'm a beta tester. Seems like ppl are fine with ui 7 being beta but not sum freaking msgn app?
Google messages is under beta if you have enrolled to beta, otherwise we do have stable version
But still no trash in Google Message :(
App archive option is available

I always have to scan a QR code instead selecting an animal symbol. How come?
Phone and watch both are Sametime esim spot
Oogle ads do give ads with rcs
My OTPs never worked
I had to switch because samsung messages is not working, and u miss my customization. google is ugly.
