    I very much like my Yeoman. Bought it used and have replaced the scales with translucent blue Plus scales.
    Very good tool!

      Thanks. I'm not an expert and the dates are often iffy but, it's neat to see the difference between models and date ranges.

    Yeoman /ˈjoʊmən/ is a noun originally referring either to one who owns and cultivates land or to the middle ranks of servants in an English royal or noble household. The term was first documented in mid-14th-century England.

    I would have guessed that the combi tool was a much later addition. I didn't know it's been around that long.

      I was surprised too. Tool Evolution can be confusing but I use SAAMs 91mm tool evolution as my guide.

      @@Stewart0494 Don't compare yourself too much with the others. As long as you don't need to make your living with your videos you don't need to be the best. You're not boring just very calm and I like that.

    There is a legendary Yeoman Mechanic out there somewhere. It's got the addition of pliers, making it a 4-layer knife. That might well-be the plus ultra of SAKs.

    I just got a custom made one. It is a great SAK! Equivalent of an Explorer, but in 3 layers, just losing the reamer/awl.

      Why not have the nail file on every hook? Some things they do are just baffling. (Probably because they want to sell more high priced compacts, but still, it's annoying).

    • @Oshianis
      @Oshianis 3 месяца назад

      @@clange50i agree. Victorinox just doesn't make sense... plus scales should be on almost on every model. A pen should be included on every model. If a pen can be included with the compact then why can't it be included on the climber?
      Why is an inline phillips driver not included on more models?
      Why install a Phillips head on the back side in place of the cork screw, when the cork screw is used to house the precision mini tool pieces? Just doesn't make sense.
      If the SAK isn't going to include a nail file, then why not include a file on the hook just like in the compact model?
      How come the work champ, outsider nor the Hercules include a hook?
      Perplexing lol
