I really wish they let us spend a bit $$ and design our own. There's always 2-3 things I want different! I do like the Explorer that you can get today though.

The grey magnifying glass is indeed 8x, but the newer clear glass is 5x, but larger and clearer (less distortion). Great to see an American pronouncing Yeoman correctly! 👍🏼
Great video. I prefer to pair a two-layer Scientist with a Signature on the keychain or a two-layer Compact with Talisman on the keychain. The first pair gives me the magnifying glass, small scissors and large phillips. The second pairing gives me the hook, large scissors and small phillips. In both cases, I prefer the 58mm pen. Among popular tools, both pairs lack the reamer and can opener. You'd need a four-layer Explorer Plus to replace everything in these pairs and add the reamer and can opener.

I haven't a clue. I've never sent a knife in for repair.
