I have been there in june 2022, pretty nice nature and people. All the monuments dedicated to Kim Jong Il are a bit lame but the life there is pretty good, people are actually in charge of their workplace which means that some get 3 day weekends. Usually when their rights aren't respected they get legal help from the syndicates. It's not perfect tho not bad, just different.
