Wonderful tutorial! I am an experienced Opera FEA user trying to switch to open source simulation software and I find your turorials extremely helpful. Thank you very much for your work, it is greatly appreciated! :)

Thank you for your time and dedication to sharing your knowledge to other people. I find your methodology and style very instructive and motivating not just for following, but for exploring new possibilities on one's own. Maybe I dare asking for a tutorial on mesh refinement options and the role of the different meshing algorithms offered by gmsh. Regards.

Hi Mr Rusu, I am trying to mesh a geological slope with stratums(which are modelled as surfaces) using gmsh. As the geological slope is modelled as a whole, and the stratums cut crossed the slope, I would like to generate different regions divided by these stratums and then mesh these regions independently (but the surfaces between the two regions should be conformal). Is it possible to generate such mesh independently by gmsh? (I tried but failed), or should I firstly use some other computer geometric packages?
