Glad I found your video. my daughter has shoulder length hair that she wants out for the first day of school but I could not think of any styling options that would look cute with her natural being left out from the beginning of the day until the end. with these styles she'll still look cute by the time she's getting off the bus! The tip regarding how to create the illusion of a shorter bang was AWESOME!
After you put your hair in the 'fro hawk you can wrap a scarf around the sides to smooth them down. Make sure you apply a pomade or gel on the sides first. This should create a really neat look.

Everyone's definition of what is short is different. For some people it's a twa while for others it's around Chanda's length. Her hair is short compared to where it was before she went natural.
