    But I also agree with you that it should be up to the staff to tell them to control their kids. Shouldn't be my job.

    Never eaten here ever ever seems rather expensive for us so will be looking forward to seeing value for money! I’ll be back with my review in a bit ….right sooo my review on your meal 😂 wow the food sounded like it was extremely flavourful including the drinks, your explanation made my mouth water and I don’t really drink alcohol, loved the setting and buzz of the restaurant, presentation was perfection of the food, interesting review oh nooo eek we would be the same about kiddies I’m sorry but the parks are for running around not when it’s dinner time, maybe one for us to consider but not top top of our list, love your honest reviews on here! 👍 9 mins wow that’s amazing 🤩 I’m jealous

    Your reviews are PERFECTION. Short and on point. A great overview of everything- amazing how you give us a detailed sense of the food, the service and the location. Best WDW dining reviews on RUclips!!!!!!!

    We took my parents there for their 55th anniversary in May and we all loved it. Thankfully we didn't have the issues with kids and loudness. It was a Sunday night; so maybe that's why.

    Citricos is one of our favorites. We have always had great meals there and it is the closest WDW restaurant to our house so it works out well for us!

    I agree 100% about the kids running around and being loud. Good that you said it! Even great that you said it!! Parents who can't discipline their kids and teach them to behave in expensive restaurants (where others are celebrating special occasions) should either learn to control their kids or leave them at home. If other parents can keep their kids under control then they should too. It's easy enough if the kids have any respect for their parents and other people. My "issue" is that I say it directly to the parents, "Tell your kids to sit down and be quiet. I'm trying to enjoy my dinner." They don't like it but it usually works out pretty well. I understand it's Disney World but it's also about kids learning to respect other families who might like to have a family conversation over their special (& very expensive) dinners. Lovely video. Thank you!

    Had a really good meal here once but can seem "snooty" service. Kids yuck. DON'T go around the holidays when they ONLY have a fixed price menu. The food was awful, very expensive and seemed like the food was sitting on the counter forever. Some food (desserts) seemed out of a box.

    Love your dining vlogs. My family and I haven’t eaten there yet. As for the screaming kid experience, we had breakfast at Kona Cafe a few years back and there was a toddler who was screaming and throwing tantrums. I was so uncomfortable and I did feel bad for the mom but if it were me I would have grabbed my kid and left the restaurant. Why make it more miserable for the patrons around you waiting for their food. Also when we left we could still hear that kid as we were exiting the hotel!

    I went to Citricos on three separate trips to Disney World, and I loved it! The food was exceptionally delicious and the servers were excellent.
    One regret on my side, the first time that I went, I had a young lady waitress who was was quiet and very polite and professional...which I liked. Saying nothing, she quietly would fill up my wine or ice tea glass, and I didn't know that she even was there. I very much liked that. Servers, like car drivers, who constantly try to engage you in conversations to gain extra points when it came to tipping...no, I don't like it. The waitress that I had, I only wish that I had tipped her $100 and not $25...she was that good and deserved it. I always have regretted my poor decision. I came back the following year to makeup for my poor judgment, but she was a college student, and gone.
    Bottom line...Citricos is an excellent restaurant, and I loved it!

    I'm watching this while in disney world (its night time though!) Lol. We just had lunch at 'be our guest' today and it was awful. I hear you about the kids. I have a 7 and 2 year old and I'm pretty shocked at how some parents let their children act. Alot of completely unsupervised kids. Best food so far has been the Carne Asada fries on the Boardwalk. We've went back 2x! But we haven't been to epcot yet. Anyways, thanks for your honest reviews.

      Ugh, sorry your BOG lunch wasn’t good. What was it that made it bad?

      @@AddictedtotheMouse we had a reservation, I booked 60 days out, and didn't get seated until 20 min. after our reservation time. There was no explanation or apology. In fact I had no idea they were running behind and just thought they were rude, until I asked about our table and finally got seated. Plus the "filet minion' was over cooked (I asked for medium rare) and under cooked (my husband asked for medium well), it seems the food isn't made to order, but cafeteria/banquet food that is premaid and reheated. Which for $200 for our family, excluding tip, was pretty insane. I had watched a ton of reviews before booking but didn't see your channel yet. Mostly DFB and All ears and neither mentioned the cafeteria food, or I would have booked elsewhere. We've had better food from the beach club market place at our hotel lol.
      ETA: they also put us in a room with alot of really loud thunder and my 2 year old was absolutely terrified and had to be held half the meal. Just awful.
      Anyway sorry for the novella ha!

    I don't think I've heard you rave about food quite like that before, yet you have no plan to return. It must have been VERY loud and VERY expensive!! 😂 I missed what your thoughts were on the accompaniment.

      Haha, the food was excellent, but yes…very loud. The truffle Mac was good. Not the best thing we ate, but good for sure

    I don't know if I'm relieved or upset that I'm not the only one who had a terrible parenting experience at a Disney restaurant. When my Mom and I had a nice meal at the Brown Derby the couple seated next to us let their toddler watch videos on a tablet at FULL volume. Thankfully in that situation after about five minutes a Cast Member did go up and say something to them. It's sad that people have to be so entitled and inconsiderate to other diners these days.

  • @sensitivecuriosity5054

    Not sure how I feel about it. Disney is for kids and they have to follow their parents around. Waitstaff get more than 1 table to serve so sounded I little too entitled to me especially when only ordering 1 entre and 1 desert for 2 people. Tip is based on total bill, sooo ya get what you tip for. Sorry….. 😊

    • @AddictedtotheMouse
      @AddictedtotheMouse  Год назад

      I don’t follow this at all. An upscale restaurant is an upscale restaurant and ambiance is not based on each individual table.

  • @myrnapowell1637

    Going to a nice restaurant should mean dress code and best behavior by everyone. I don’t care if it’s Disney or not. Your paying for an upgraded experience and that’s what it should be💔

  • @TheGoofy1932
    @TheGoofy1932 2 года назад

    Too expensive of a restaurant to have those sort of behavioral issues and that level of service-Not acceptable. Which is ashame because the food is very good there. (I am one of those people who would have mentioned the screaming, unsupervised children to a manager 🤨) It's a Signature Restaurant. You deserve a Signature Experience when dining there; Not to feel like Extras in Peewee's Playhouse.

      Lol, we don’t disagree with you. But we usually don’t complain unless the staff are rude or just bad. But I wouldn’t say you’re wrong for complaining
