    I found an art curriculum for self taught artists online and started it, but I’m realizing it’s gonna take longer than planned. It didn’t even cross my mind to make my own guide. Thank you so much for making this! Definitely going apply some of these to my own studies.

    One of the best way, to start a RUclips channel, while you doing learning your art everyday. You encouraged to draw to paint everyday. Drawing painting everything, go wild, wide range of choice. Getting inspiration from IG and Pinterest. Keep art hustling. Get a mentor. Paint everyday. Draw everything. Have crazy levels of confidence. Envision your future success. Believe in the possibilities of greater achievement. Never look back even if you look bad for awhile. Discipline and consistency. Study the reconnaissance masters. Watch anime. Watch graphic novels. Read fiction. Learn and love solitude. To quiet down, let your imagination run wild, as far as your imagination takes you, it is possible to achieve. You might just be a painting to❤ your biggest breakthrough. Never quit. Never give up easily. Every drawing and painting is a new opportunity. Discipline and consistency. Keep hustling in your drawing and painting and any form of design. Put your whole heart into it. Greatness is waiting for you.

    My art studies anime books as a kid, which evolved with library books about painting in High school, and lastly a certain books called
    "Morpho" anatomy for artists
    by Michel Lauricella
    I also take the time to draw statues for still life's.

      I also had a lot of anime books when I was an adolescent! It was a big phase for me 😅. I’ll have to check out Morpho as well! Thanks for sharing 😊

    I feel lucky to have found such a rare and valuable channel. I was actually thinking about whether to go to art school or not. I will be an architect but I'll never stop drawing no matter what! Thanks a lot, you don't know how much you've helped :D

    I have a Notion page where I separated on each cateogry, including Learning and Exercises for drawing to keep a track. So, I returned to draw last year and I want to sell commissions or my own artwork when I have my own style.

    Can you please tell me , if I learned painting from RUclips it's called I am an self thought artist or not?

    • @RachelMarieArt
      @RachelMarieArt  6 месяцев назад +1

      “Self taught” is honestly just a buzzword. There’s no such thing as truly self taught, everyone learns from somewhere. I’ve taken classes in person and online, learned from books and RUclips. But mostly people consider “self taught” to just mean you didn’t get a degree or something similar from a college or art school.
