Did you know that by smelling coffee beans, it “erases” all other aromas in your nasal cavity? I’m old enough to remember when department stores used to keep a small cup of coffee beans on the perfume counters so shoppers could sniff/smell in between smelling many perfumes.
A perfume shop near Myrtle Beach SC does this! I was getting a headache from all the scents and they gave me a little ketchup cup of coffee beans! And it actually helped!
I just moved to South Carolina from NY, and so many people have a lovely southern accent like u Mary! Lol, it gives me such comfort for some reason. Have a great night!!

My bf and I and our dog took a chance and moved here, my dad drove me, we didn't have a lot of money to start, but I've got a job now and a cute apartment, eventually saving for a house. The weather and people are awesome!! Seriously, everyone is so friendly - it's almost like going back to the 80's or 90's.

6:04 SouthernASMR : Concerning the sanitary napkins and other menstrual products, my city tried or has now enforced extra budget for people earning minimum wage so that they can get personal hygiene products without having to eat into their food budget. I think there are also 2 of the cabinets in my city especially for personal hygiene products because of the idea that it is necessary when you are earning minimum wage because of the food budget you otherwise have to use for it.
These hauls about the blessing box are my super favorite. I just think you have the best heart. Even before i saw anything about you filling that box, i just felt you have the biggest heart. I just heard on the news that CVS and Walgreens aren't going to sell products with phenylephrine anymore because after much research it was determined that it does not work, it does nothing when taken orally. I immediately thought of you and said to myself "Mary tried to tell y'all".
As someone who has utilized the blessing boxes in the past year especially I must say you are so considerate and thoughtful in choosing what to donate! Love those microwaveable rice packs! So convenient! Love that you included feminine products. You are so very generous and generous this video and your voice is so relaxing and comforting . Thanks for all you do!!
My sister thinks it's ridiculous how early they start bringing any calendar holiday stuff out, I mean she actually gets mad that others like when it comes out early. I personally don't mind it at all. It's each persons choice whether they choose to look at it or not look at it. The days pass fast enough as it is and the older I get the more I savor each holiday so if bringing it out a little earlier helps stretch the time out, so be it. I usually don't look at the upcoming holiday stuff really until the previous holiday that lands right before it, has passed but, it's there if I decide to look. 😁Whether a person loves it or thinks it's ridiculous, it truly is a personal preference and it's not hurting anyone either way. To each his/her own, am I right?! I'll end by saying I love you and I love your content. Thank you for all that you do for others, you're truly a blessing!
Fascinating to see the differences between what US and UK Aldi looks like. I guess i need to remind you that people needing food donations will probably not have a dishwasher. But the feminine stuff is a good reminder.
I can't accommodate or anticipate the resources of every person who might come to the blessing box. I do what I can and provide what I can, and I hope some people can use the things other people and I put in there.
Dollar general around here has huggies in size 3-7-3 diapers for 1$. Not a bad deal at all. If you just have a couple bucks buying a couple can get you thru a couple days
First, you are amazing, and I know many people, especially families, are thankful for all of these items! ❤ You are SO right with the increased prices on everything, especially on items that are basic necessities, like toilet paper, baby wipes, toothpaste, etc. Honestly, I don't know how families do it nowadays, especially if they are attempting to be healthier. I mean, it's no wonder obesity is an issue when the less expensive option, or ONLY option for some, are fast food places. Many children only have their school meals as their daily intake, and it breaks my heart for those that go without on the weekends, school breaks, half days, etc. Definitely gone are the days with one working parent, unless that parent has a really high paying job. With rent/mortgage, gas/oil/electricity/water bills, vehicle fuel, nevermind cable/phone bills, mobile phone bills, car payments. Just so nuts, and the rate of pay, at least where I live in New England, did not increase to cover these costs. I make a nice salary, and it's just my elderly Mom, my German Shepherd, and I, and if I did not make this salary, or had children or more mouths to feed, I know I'd be grateful for the blessing box, food pantry, etc. because I'm sure I'd need to take advantage of these services!

I do this if I’ve been cleaning with a lot of bleach. It really helps. You can also sniff grounds. It’s no different:)

Food stamps not sure what it’s called now, does not cover non food items such as hygiene cleaning etc
