This is my initial review since I just got the ipad and I'm hoping to update it when I've had it longer ruclips.net/user/postUgkxUGaHtKW8MwCql2fPyIm9-ftTqSMzKFFA . I purchased one that was listed as "acceptable condition" and was a little worried about what it would look like. However, I am pleased with its condition. The back has some scuffs and a small dent near the logo. There are a few tiny marks at the bottom of the front of the ipad but the condition of the screen is perfect. There are no scratches or anything. I was able to set it up, use it, and it charges fine. I'm hoping it continues to work well for me. So far it was worth the purchase. Also shipping was fast. The item came one day earlier than expected
i have the same exact thoughts!!!!... i mean the form factor is perfect, i would no longer want a tablet thats bigger or smaller than this., also its fast and fluid, this is my favorite device to use when im at my couch or in my bed watching contents and streaming social medias. easily my best tech purchase in 2022 together with my discounted watch series 7 ☺️☺️☺️

Just got mines right after Christmas (purple 256 gb cellular+wifi) I previously had the ipad air 4th generation and it was just too big and heavy for my liking. I'm a hard-core book reader and that's the real reason why i decided to get it so that i can take it everywhere i go. I previously owned the ipad mini 4 and 5 as well. I also use it to watch my favorite shows, play games, etc.
Why would someone need to buy the cellular version if you have your iPhone with you all the time and can connect to the hotspot?
Because cellular model has gps and for those of us that may want to use it independently of iPhone say maybe in a vehicle as a bigger screen then it’s clutch. Plus, some may not want to run down their phone battery wither

I got my iPad mini for reading and journaling this is the perfect size plus I can use it to stream my favorite shows to watch with my mom it's awesome I know some people think it needs more pro features but it doesn't its the perfect package. Mine has 256gb it's enough and without cellular. This makes my nook obsolete. 😊

@@Imauser88 depends I traded my iPad mini 5 to get my current one and the credit from that trade covered over 50 % of the cost and I only had to cover $350.00 so it was a good deal.

The iPad mini is my favorite Apple device right now. While this tablet is fantastic, there are a few things that I would like to see in the next generation. Number 1: ProMotion. The iPad mini is in need of 120 Hz refresh rate to solve the jelly scrolling issue people are facing. Next, more RAM. 4 GB of RAM is not enough for this iPad especially if you do a lot of multitasking. I hope the next iPad mini gets 8 GB of RAM. Finally, FaceID. While I do like TouchID, I would like to have FaceID for the Attention Awareness Feature. If I had to pick a bonus feature, I would choose NFC. Imagine having the ability to use Apple Pay on the iPad mini without having to get an iPhone.

@@davidponce6132 The more RAM you have, the more apps will be able to stay open in the background. 4 GB of RAM causes too many reloads when trying to multitask.

I just got my M2 MacBook Air. I'll get the iPad Mini 6 and the Apple pencil this year. For sure, there will be huge price drops when newer 2023 models come out.

Got the Mini 6 in Starlight around last week, it’s awesome! Love the size and good for playing games. I also just ordered the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Plus just yesterday which is coming on Sunday. I’m happy with it!

I like to buy it for media consumption especially youtube and stuffs and to play not more than 2 games....is 64gb good for me since it havent got 128gb....only 256 another option, its kinda costly tho
@@yuta.kitsune I have the 64gb model and that works for me, I don’t download a ton of stuff, and you don’t really need a lot of storage for this small of a tablet

Just got mine last year and its good enough for socmed, consuming content, and casual gaming… i do think an upgrade chip and 120hz will be just the right amount of upgrade for mini 7 but it wont be enough to switch already for current 6mini users since most of us are casual users but it would be very appealing for mobile gamers for sure, so magsafe charging and battery bump would be a nice addition for mini 7
I feel I have the perfect combination of an iPad Mini 6 (256GB WiFi+Cellular) and iPhone 13 Mini. I would like to see the M1 in the Mini just to use an external Display in full expansion. I use it with external keyboard and mouse, omn my desk and with a keyboard case on the go. It really is my main productivity device, I barely use my MacBook Pro 16” anymore, the iPad is just more portable.
Watching from my space gray iPad mini 6, I use this device more than my 2 larger iPads and my MacBook combined
I have a S22 and macbook pro. Do you recommend go for an iPad ?? (I was an iphone user in the past and I love the optimization of the apps on iOS)
I almost bought an ipad mini but when I compared it to the new Z Fold 4, there was just no comparison. To trade in my Note 20 ultra for an iphone 14 pro with 512 gb and then purchase an ipad mini with 256 and cellular was gonna cost me $2200 including the apple pencil and then a $200 trade in for my Note ultra for a total of $2000. Add a mac mini and now im at $2700. The fold 4 had 512 storage, a 120 htz screen, super fast next gen processor, and has Dex mode which also makes it a great desktop, phone, and mini tablet. I got it for $1500 on sale and then Samsung gave me $1000 for my Note 20 ultra for a total of $500 including the S pen. Obviously I take it anywhere. So now I have a top of the line phone, desktop computer using dex, and tablet for about $1500 less than the iphone/mini combo and when compared, it just runs circles around the mini. You should try it for yourself. Can you imagine getting an iphone that unfolds into an ipad mini with extremely high specs and lots of storage, and then when you plug it into a monitor, it turns into an imac or macbookusing DEX. Wouldn't that be great? That's the Z Fold 4!

At best, it gets an A16 gen processor. No pro motion or anything like that. And i see that being like a spring 2024 release
it'd be great if mini 6 have pro motion just for gaming
you might want to purchase an android tablet with 120fps screen to be able to play in 120fps that would make the device ran very hot while gaming that in no time the cpu would throttle , that would lead to framedrops. in tablets and mobile device, being able to play in high-res @ 60fps smoothly is already considered very highend which this device is really very good at. in fact. this device , according to benchmarks across all iphones even 14pro max and latest android devices , is the best and smoothest mobile device to play games with (ofcourse except the m1 ipads which are very huge devices for movile gaming).
I hope the next iPad mini will have a pro motion display.
Buy a Pro for Pro-Motion. That’s why it’s called Pro motion.

What’s weird is that I used an app that required the true depth camera and it was compatible with it. Isn’t that what is used for Face ID?
I find Face ID annoying on iPads … but that’s just me.
If only ipad mini can make phone call and send text masaage, i wont be using my xs anymore

The large variety of productivity uses for the Mini demonstrates how versatile it can be. A Master of Non - But Good at a lot of stuff - Find by me!!!
I bought an iPad Mini Cellular 9 years ago. I do not browse with it - I'm an adult -so I use my 14" laptop to browse and an Apple TV for viewing.
After 9 years of ownership - I use my Mini almost exclusively when I "TRAVEL" - to do the following (otherwise it sits in a drawer)
#1- as a GPS unit in my vehicles - the best GPS ever (70%) That's after over 150K miles of road trips - when I need a GPS for town use - my iPhone works fine.
#2 - as a Sidecar or mirror screen to view video paired with a M2 MBA (25%)
#3 - as an eReader (4%)
#4 - the odd miscellaneous task (1%) This might change with the pencil.
I will likely buy the new Mini 7 when it comes out later this year. The Mini is simply a great portable complimentary device that sits between an iPhone & Laptop (my MBA M2 being my favourite Apple product)
I have the pro 12.9 and while great tool I feel the mini would be less of a hassle bringing abroad
