I’ve flown on that exact Airbus A380 with the registration
A6-EDR from Dubai To Munich back In 2014! Time flies!
Yes it happened once on Air France in Paris . Arrived late from Washington and had 45 minutes to make connection to Rome. Air France agent Met Rome passengers airside at remote parking site with a van. We thought we would be taken directly to the plane or close to it. Instead Air France agent proceeded to walk us at breakneck pace for about 45 minutes giving us a grand walking tour of Paris airport, two security checks and one passport control. Stressful. No time to stop to pee or to take a quick smoke in one of the smoking cabins. More importantly though we are in good physical shape and such a trek was no sweat but anyone in less than good condition would not be able to keep up. In fact we lost two or three Rome bound passengers somewhere along the way. The AF agent seemed confused at times. He would stop all of a sudden, think for a minute then proceed in the opposite direction. Alls well that ends well.in the end we got to our gate and boarded the bus to take us to the remote site where our plane was parked. Either they had held the bus for us or boarding had been delayed for another reason but in the end we took off only slightly late.
3:14 Yes! With British Airways from Heathrow to Johannesburg. I was sitting in Economy at the upper deck... with a family of 4. And there were 4 seats left! We were very lucky (otherwise it would’ve had some middle seats) and she was very quiet. One of the best Flight Experiences I’ve ever had, but a crying baby ruined everything...

1:56 yes, First at Jakarta Airport to Muscat airport where our group had several problems on check in and it took a long time until it was already the last call., so we ran to the gates assisted with a staff, then it happened again as we landed At Muscat Airport for a conecting flight to Jeddah , Our group (again) had some problems on our check-in, and we made it 10 MIN before departure schedule, So we ran to the gates assisted by a staff from oman air at those last minutes
Brilliant I’ve been on Emirates A380 four times, I’ve also been on lots of airlines. Emirates is the best! Now I want to Belton a pilot when I’m older (for emirates) great video!
Yes I've flown by LH Airbus a380 from San Francisco to Frankfurt in Nov 2017. And as you asked about the hectic situation I've gone through it! I was traveling from San Francisco to Frankfurt by LH Airbus a380 and I had to catch my next flight from Frankfurt to Mumbai. But my first flight was delayed by 2 hours because of some cargo issues and I missed my next flight. But Lufthansa managed the things and they booked a ticket for me of British airways from Frankfurt to London to Mumbai. I reached my destination 8 hours late but I reached safely!
And that was quiet an experience! 😄
What would be more impressive is the checked baggage (if any) was transferred to the the aircraft as well. Nice video.

1. yes, in Dusseldorf. We flew from Munich to Fort Myers on Air Berlin. The first flight (MUC-DUS) was so delayed, that we thought we would miss the connection. We had to run thru the airport and within 10 mins we were in the second plane :) even our luggage did it!
2. Nope, I didn't fly on the A380 yet. But that will change next month :D
3. do not cut the takeoff! If people want to skip that, they can do it anyway

Great video I honestly love Emirates and their airbus A380 and I would love to see more from emirates and Lufthansa long haul flights (Lufthansa is my favorite airline) but either way great trip report. And at around 3:20 When you asked have you been on an A380 I haven’t but my dad was and I was very jealous. Wither I liked and great work!

I have experienced but we saw a Emirates staff waiting for us but we didn't go to him and went by our own and then we were lost an then some how we finded him and started following him and then safely went too our home!!!
I've flown on many Emirates A380's,both upper and lower deck from MAN-BKK.Superb airline to fly with and I've only had 1 near miss of a connecting flight with them.Like Aviation Trips I've changed to Qatar now.Hoping to be on their A340 for my christmas holiday.

Schöner Trip Report Lukas, bin 2016 von MUC nach DXB das aller erste Mal im A380 geflogen. Ich war so nervös, dass ich den ganzen Flug weder Filme geschaut noch geschlafen habe. Damals war die Reservierung noch kostenlos möglich und ich bekam einen Emergency Exit Row Seat. Die Beinfreiheit ist einfach nur genial. War leider erst nach der Landung im Upper Deck. Die Emirates Crew war oft sehr freundlich, gab aber auch ein paar Male, in denen sie nicht ganz so freundlich waren. Unfreundlich war nie jemand.

Yes I once had such a hectic Transit
I flew with my family from
Frankfurt - Rome - Amman on board alitalia
Our plane from Frankfurt to Rome had a delay of 2 hours and when we arrived at Rome a Staff was waiting for us, the last passengers on the flight to Amman. He brought us insanely fast to the gate and we nearly missed it
Recently I was to fly from Florence to Munich, it was the first flight of the day at the airport. But they couldn’t open the doors to the security control up until 10 minutes before original departure „due to technical reasons“. So 600+ people were waiting to get through security control 😂
Then the (unfriendly) airport staff shouted all MUC passengers to the control and sent us to the gate. This was very stressful and typically Italian… never experienced something like that before!

Its always nice when the airline give you service you weren't expecting. I had a super short connection in FRA to IAH in March, Lufthansa, went above and beyond to get me to my fight.
Yes, without this awesome service I wouldn't have made my flight.
I’ve flown 13 Emirates A380 Flights :) including A6-EDR DXB-MUC Back in 2015
But now I changed to Qatar Airways which I found is waaay better than Emirates specially the Hamad International Airport connection is smoother

1:56 i had a situation like that - i was flying from new york back to auckland connecting through chicago. my flight from lga to ord was delayed by 50 mins, and then when i arrived at ord, i lost my passport at check in. i found it, but we were nearly late.
I’ve not floden on the A380 but I have flown on the 747-400 from Stockholm to Phuket with Thai Airways :)

I have flown the a380 8 times, I think from FRA over SIN to SYD and back with Qantas, from FRA over SIN to SYD and back with Singapore Airlines and from FRA to SFO and back with Lufthansa.

Once I flew with Emirates from Christchurch to Birmingam Via Sydney and Dubai and our flight was delayed around 2 and 1/2 hours at Christchurch because one of the jet-bridges wouldn't disconnect so we only had like half an hour stop-over in Sydney and when we landed in Dubai we had around 30-25mins till our connecting flight to Birmingham left so we had to rush and we got there like just in time so yea its annoying having a delay

To answer you questions:
Had a similar situation at CAN where CZ employees literally run with us through the airport from international to domestic terminal and through security.
Please don't cut take-off. Although I don't watch that part anyway everybody may skip it (famous feature called fast forward)
To get a third choice of meal I always order a special meal beforehand. For morning flights especially for not being stuck with either egg-sausage-potato-mix OR sweet something. SFML or KSML. KSML also often leads to a bigger second meal for flights between 5 and 8 hours bcs. airlines often don't have a small kosher meal available. Had some great meals on EK and CZ but not so much on TK.
Personal interest: What happens if you take you time while transiting and miss the second flight? Could you claim the 600€ because after all it's the airlines fault if the first fight is too late. Thanks!

Grundsätzlich ist Emirates einfach eine top Airline. Wie es dieser Mahlzeiten Service zeigt...Allerdings kostet ein Pikkolo Champagner USD 25,- ……..tut weh....aber der Restalkohol ist ja kostenlos.

I flow on the emirates A380 just 2 times one from Dubai to kuwait and the second Dubai to munich

Excellent trip report! I think you shouldn't cut the any takeoff rolls, it's ok for me the way you edit your videos. I have flown in LH 747/8 in the upper deck. I haven't fly Emirates yet, so I have no experience but I think it's a great airline

Oh i always in a late when i had a connecting flights , especially in singapore i always in a rush , My flight air asia in 2019 (when T4 has opened) in T4
and my previous flight is Singapore Airline from T2, and my transit time is only 25 minutes left, luckily i have checked in before i have arrived in Changi , but T2 is very crowded and immigration took my time for 5-10 minutes , i was in a rush , luckily my plane was delayed 15 minutes due to heavy rain in Changi ,
