Love this game. I think all those years ago when you first did the fan friday of Kingdom is where I started playing them all. Still playing all these years later and very happy about the Olympus DLC. Also I loved when you and Crendor played Two Crowns together. Would love to see you both maybe play together again with this game.
To be fair, it doesn't really tell you much at all. You can really mess yourself up if you cut down too many trees and destroy the camps. Eventually though it's better to destroy the camps to keep building past them and now you can rebuild camps into a house where it's more expensive to recruit but by then you should have plenty of money from farms.
I do really like that in Norselands and Deadlands and Call of Olympus you have a much more active role as a player. In the original before getting the lizard you did not do much to fight the greed alone. In those however, you can take on a whole wave alone. And I really like that.
Jesse, don't destroy the beggar camps. It's cheaper and easier to get recruits. I believe as long as you leave one tree to the left and right of it, it will stay intact. You need to leave those alone and then clear trees past the camps until you can build a wall to include the beggar camp on your side.
Someday Jesse is gonna learn how to play games, but we know it's not today. Also, keep the distance from the portal to attack it, the Hopplites wont' attack the portal, and the slingers can't be hit by the tentacle. Also, leave fields so rabbits can grow and be hunted. Forests so deer can show up and be hunted.
You can rebuild the destroyed camps into a house where it spawns a person daily. It's not as cheap (4 coins instead of 1) but it's more guaranteed and within your walls as well. I think now once you build a wall to include the beggar camp it breaks anyway but I'm not sure. Also, sometimes the next spot you can build a wall is way too far into the forest because you have to wait until another clearing that has a spot for a wall.
@Eventide215 the camps stay as long as you leave a tree to the left and right. There are trees further up you can remove past the beggar camp to allow you to build a wall that now makes the beggar camp included within the walls. It's better that way because you get 2 guys for 2 coins every few minutes and they will always be safe and will make it to their job class
@@keybro Again, you can only start to cut down trees at the next clearing which can be way too far in. I didn't say you are wrong. I said that your advice works in a very specific scenario that isn't really worth it. The camp only respawns people daily just like the house you replace it with. The timing of the people in the camp also isn't consistent. The house is.
Oh good. I've been so engaged in Hades II's latest Olympus update that when I saw "Olympus" in the video title I thought the video was about it too. I still need to play this game though. It looks pretty dang fun.
Oof. Really hindering his hunters’ ability to make money by building those walls at the edges of the grasslands every time. And when did they change the grass progression so that you can build a wall at the edge, then cut down trees past it, and the grass will grow past your wall? I’ve always been so paranoid about accidentally stopping my kingdom’s grass growth since, like, the very first version of Kingdom XD
I love this friggen game. Kingdom 80’s was such a disappointment for me (except aesthetically, which was pretty great), that I’m glad to see that the devs are still making dlc for the masterpiece of Two Crowns. :)
This dlc has few thing that will kill you just because its not obvious what is the think you put coins into going to do and then you have to spend hours getting all the stafur upgrades, hermits and mount you want ffs. So warning golfen apple spawn snake which is glorified greed portal wave, before you enter fine form of troyan horse get full bag of money and so on, after you down the snake it will reset after while so stay behind him only ad long as nessesery Also you can get your ship back at the dock of first and final island Rock upgrade sbould be on first big island and marble on second you visit
This game is still going? Gotta be honest, I've been a big fan from the start, but the gameplay is getting kinda stale. There's never any real twists or changes from tileset to tileset.
The old Cox n' Crendor series with this game was so great, can't believe it was 5 years ago.
I cannot express how awesome many of the free 2.0 upgrades are. Like troops moving to the other side once it’s defeated? Woooo!
Omg our prayers have been answered 😅
Oh awesome a new dlc for this game. I love this game it's so much fun 🎉

Kingdom is such a good game and even though everything can fall apart and you can lose your crown at any point this game is pretty chill.
love how the Hoplites patrol in groups of three. Marching shoulder-to-shoulder such as at 1:13:32
Playing Kindom while watching Jesse play Kingdom. Nice
Been playing this game again cause of you Jesse :P good times.
Silly Jesseup, cutting down too many trees and destroying your camp to get new people

no comment on the MINOTAUR RIDING A HORSE? Jesse... I was cackling like a crazy person

For me it is the timing of the 1 coin guy.... gahhhh

This game is great for a small time killer. It being co-op makes it fun with a friend as well.
Jesse playing more Kingdom? Hell yeah dude I've watched the hell out of him playing this game.
This dlc is pretty cool, not to mention it has actual quests that reward you greatly.
Where is crendor?? I saw this and got so excited for the two of you together again
Same!
Hail to the king
Jesse defeated the blood moon by throwing the peasants at the greed, so king-like.
Beautiful side scroller!! ❤

I was hoping you playing with crendor but this is still amazing. Maybe someday you guys shall finish a playthrough together
The Steam link goes to Wedding Witch rather than Kingdom Two Crowns.
Got this dlc on switch but it's been bugged for almost a week so I need to get my fix through Jesse ig
Yeah I ran into the same bug. The game won't even load on Switch anymore, it errors out every time. Really nasty bug.
I had problems starting it on my steam deck. So I started on the PC and then switched to steamdeck
I was def hoping to see crendor playing with you again but oh well
Crendor, crendor, where for art thou Crendor
My name is Jesse and I approve this message
For the algorithm
Where is Skyrim?

An enemy respawns? Kind of like the boar that respawns every winter?
