I have a boy and my diaper tip is to open it, let him get the cold air exposed then close it again (just flapping it back over) then you catch that 2nd wee without wasting more diapers😀
I second this method! Had to do that with my girls or we'd have a good sized fountain going everywhere lol my husband literally got sprayed from the force after my 1st was born haha he said "man I thought just boys did this!!" 😅

Hi Beth, great video. I have 2 boys (3.5 yo and 7 weeks) and for diaper changes what works for me is to have a Cheeky wipe (or any kind of reusable wipe) in hand, and cover him as soon as the nappy is off. Then just put it in the wash.
I love that you read some bible passages during meal time. I was thinking of including that in prayer time. I love it! Thanks for setting that example for me!!
Boy diaper tip: use a wipe across their belly/ in the top of the diaper before you open it. The cold can trigger them to empty their bladder before the cold air hits.

I am in early labor with my second little boy and watching your video to keep me company. For diaper changes we always used either a cotton gauze or be ready to jump on the pee with a wipe. I found the gauze helped the most at least in the learning process because we would put it on him as soon as we opened the diaper and it would absorb most if not all the pee as we changed him

Boy diapers are for sure harder. Especially the first week when they’re healing from circumcision and the umbilical cord. Lots of Vaseline and careful hands.
