Being a streamer and just have people around for all the bounties and stuff makes an enormous difference. I did this a few weeks back and was dead alone half the time on those maps lol.
I just did it recently (few weeks ago) and to be honest it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I was afraid that maps like DOmain of Kourna and Sandswept Isles would be empty, but managed to do everything without too much trouble. People run this content almost all the time from my experience. As other person mentioned, having any kind of tag makes it way easier since you can easily reveal your location and people are just attracted to tags. I just put info in LFG and map chat and people joined and I only needed to do this few times I think. I didn't rush it to do it in a single day of course, but there were couple of days where I really pushed to get a lot of stuff done, but otherwise kept a slow pace in order not to burnout from grinding this stuff. Teapot wasn't kidding when he sad commander tag is one of the most powerful items in the game and it really helps a ton. Having a commander tag and communicating really pushes you to the next level in this game.
This simply isn't true, bounty trains and meta events even in old content is extremely common. Tag up and get to work, I could do this easily on a totally anonymous account. No excuses, stop coping!
@@MightyTeapot Well I did specimen chamber with my little apple tag and 1 other guy, took about 30 minutes and me running back from waypoint 3 or 4 times because the boss spawned infinite flowers that I couldn't outsustain - wasn't such a fun experience. I am 100% positive this wouldn't have happened to the Frugal Fighter - that's all I'm saying. I'm not using it as an excuse either, after all I finished Vision by now. Metas on old maps are played every now and then, sure, but not all the time. If you're not lucky to be on the right map at the right time, bring some patience.
@@dfg12382pple tag is definitely not a commander tag. I hae to agree with Teapot on this, as you are able to do almost all the Metas with tag and on lfg if you wait for about 10 minutes.
Gotta tell you. This series inspired me to start on Auora and Vision myself. Im a bit of a completionist, so i had a lot of the achievement part done already. Ive met a lot of new friends, doing the same thing, along the way. Cheers mate. This was a fantastic idea and well worth it.
20:50 One advice for "A Star to Guide Us" mastery. Check the wiki because there are some easy hidden achievements on that one (mentioned around 36:40). Yeah you need 38 total, but there are like 5-10 hidden achievements and some of them are super easy. This can help you reduce the time spent on this one and prevent hunting for boring or longer achievements. Also, if you have griffon mount just do griffon master/expert in Jahai because they are actually pretty easy, I was surprised. Make sure to use the "turbo dive" (hold dive key skill + space, mentioned at 32:45) with griffon to get enormous speed boost and you can complete these super easy. I took me like 2-3 attempts on each one of these to get gold which is I think 4 achievements in few minutes. I was scared of this one while doing Vision, but it ended up being not so scary because of griffon achievements and those hidden achievements. EDIT: I wrote this comment before watching the full video so some of this stuff was mentioned in the video, I just didn't get to those parts at that time.
The amount of events you need is definitely a huge roadblock. I spent a lot of time in dragonfall and there are people asking about bridges every single day
Events aren't too bad if you also are doing something else on the map. Dragonfall for me, actually completed the fastest and first of all the return to achievos, becausd i was just passively grinding the meta while grinding my skyscale. The other lws4 maps took me the longest, mostly because of the bounties needed, me having no tag, and maps being very dead when it isn't on daily rotation at peak times.
The bandolier is the only bag with function that I actually love. Having all containers in one bag makes inventory management so much more enjoyable. 15:55 Definitely going to get that bigger one for the new main as soon as I know what I'll migrate to after the balance patch fiesta 😂
I did much of Vison and Aurora at the same time, and I would do aurora 12 times before redoing vision. I just hated every minute of it for some reason.

If you have a tag or even just use the mentor tag then people will flock to you. Thats how I got it done.

Such a cliffhanger! No grand opening? I would love to see you opening the chests/getting an absurd amount of loot in one go :(
I did bridges in like 3hrs just going round all 4 bridges every 15mins. You can afk as mech too to tag event
Is there one Blish plugin for all these legendaries, skyscale, etc? I know he mentioned the plugin in a previous episode but can't remember which one.

@@1Caja Appreciate that. Will come back to this comment when I finally get to the point to go after this gear
" I'm nearly done guys"
Isn't the point you're never done with this game.
It's a series showing how to grind items from scratch, they're seasons and they end when the goals are met.
what cursor mod does teapot use?
It is now possible to choose the cursor settings in GW2 menu. But earlier, people used YoloMouse or similar add-ons.

I love bridges xddTree
lol? just move the items into the slots where you want them to stay and the items not moving isnt a problem
Your Mic does weird sounds, with headphones I can hear that quite well it is a bit annoying
