Steve Allen was one of the most talented and versatile people of that era. He played the piano, wrote music, great comedy, and did real physical stunts on LIVE TV! I think he broke an arm or some other injury doing one of his physical routines!

Yes, Steve had a daily syndicated talk/variety series {on Westinghouse stations} from 1962 through '64 [I think Bill Daily had just joined the show as Steve's announcer, before it ended that summer]. And that's Jayne Mansfield with Steve at the beginning...

+Trinity Simeus He was an amazing talent. You may not know all the groups he was with, but I have all their records - The Tenderfoots, The Sharps, The Impax, Carl Ell and the Buddies, The Ebbtides, The Four-after-Five, and The Crenshaws. Have any old photos or unreleased recordings/demos?

+Gilmore Box unfortunately I do not. My grandmother's mother (Mrs. White) just recently passed and she would've been the one to have them. So if they're around my grandma would have them. That is so cool that you have all of that! :)

Where'd they get that audience, the graveyard? Who could sit still during that?

The audience behaved as if they were adults at a TV variety show not kids at a rock show.
