Amazing series for the Stros. It's so satisfying beating the Yankees, esp in the Bronx. Altuve went cold, but he'll redeem himself. Pena really solidified his presence in the post season. Chaz deserves the starting job in CF. What Yuli lost in youth, he's gained in clutch moments and IQ. Breg has been born again. The Pitching staff is of legendary status. Crane has brought us from the grief to glory. These are great moments I thought we'd never see, after tons of losing seasons. 1986 til now. No more next year, next season, wait til we sign so-n-so. Our guys were doing a great job at plate discipline....they were swinging at pitches in the zone, instead of chasing. It'd be nice if MLB could find some umps that can call balls and strikes....they've been horrible all playoffs, for both sides.
I couldn't agree more with both points made. Luckily, their mistakes didn't seem to impact the end results much. I hate to admit that technology may improve the ball/strike calls w/ verifiable accuracy if it can be done quickly and the sooner the better.

Honestly, I feel (minutely) bad for Yankee fans, the good ones at least, that their team is this atrocious. However, job doesn’t end here, time to conquer the World Series.
Games 1 and 2 were competitive. The Yankees had played less than 24 hours earlier in NYC and put up a solid fight in Game 1, and if Aaron Judge's fly ball travels just 5 feet further, they may have won Game 2.
After looking at this video, there was nothing wrong with Nester Cortez; he just didn't have it...There were two times where he could have said I'm "hurt", but he didn't....Plain and simple, he just didn't have the stuff to compete.........
