Time to emphasize the real birth of the American dream of freedom: June 30, 1619 in the quire of the wooden church at Jamestowne. The First Assembly voted to meet again in July and pass laws for the “ guidance and peaceful governance of all the inhabitants of the settled areas.” The signers were ALL the men and boys who had survived “the starving time.” Today’s black history declares our history as a stain on our very existence as a country began in August with the landing of 20 slaves from a British ship.
Love all this history! Thank you!
Sorry couldnt listen with all the tongue n teeth clucking.
Isent that ignorance? They will get interested at some point; wait till they are 50.
