One thing can be said for having old things......limited electrical problems. I am still working on my 977. I haven't had time to work on it lately. We have been baling hay and that's whole other set of problems. Thanks for the videos!
Yeah very simple electrical system on the 977. Funny story i was running it today and after letting it cool off some before i shut it off i turned the instrument panel light on to see if it worked and i was amazed when both lights came on LOL its the little things.
I kept looking for the part where you put them back in to secure the cab from falling on you. However, thanks a lot for helping me know exactly where to find that wire because I am getting ready to do the same repair
100% same problem here..... right down to the rodents. I just checked and the error code is the same so I'll have a go at it tomorrow. If it fixes our machine send me one of your feet so that I can kiss it. You're a bloody champion!
@@HaydenIngram Not so uncommon on a macadamia farm. We lost a 23k mower when it was new because rats ate the overheat warning wire and it got a pinhole in the radiator. Melted the pistons.
@@HaydenIngram just like the crankcase breather filter on left side of engine inside plastic canister with foil around it , is NOT is manual anywhere , however if this filter is not changed I’ve heard of certain machines blowing seals because motor couldn’t get air in the crankcase .

Whenever you go up it locks in place and there’s also a safety pin back there it’s red…. 1 on the strong arm and one on top of the rear hood…

It’s just weird the code isn’t listed in the manual, it’s also odd this is such a common problem

Bump for a headache saved. Mice ate through my wires right at the connector as well.

Parts store was a ford coolant temp or oil temp plug I believe..
