I got the arctic white version of this cooler. Taking it on a float trip this weekend where you are on the river for 8 hours. Kids in and out of the cooler constantly in the direct sun. Hoping that this cooler will counter the insulation loss of cheaper coolers! Awesome review!

Thanks for your watching and your comments. We're very happy with Blue Cooler - it has been a definite upgrade over our prior cooler which we used for many years. And, it's going camping with us again in just a few days. Our experience is that some of the insulation benefits diminish when the cooler is opened and closed frequently (mostly for keeping ice unmelted). But you want a cooler to use - so it's great for a day on the river. And for longer trips, where we're in and out of it, as long as we have access to new supplies of ice every few days, it's a nice complement to our gear for storing food. Happy travels!

Yes - we're now close to two years of camping and traveling with this cooler. It has held up great. No complaints, and we are still satisfied on our end.
