Packing Essentials
Your packing list for Defqon.1 Weekender should include:
- Comfortable clothing: Dress in layers, as the weather can be unpredictable. Don't forget rain gear, as the Netherlands is known for its occasional downpours. Offcourse you can also buy some merch at the campsite and festivalsite
- Sturdy footwear: You'll be on your feet dancing for hours, so comfortable shoes are a must. Many attendees opt for sneakers or comfortable boots.
- Camping gear: If you're camping, bring a tent, sleeping bag, and camping essentials. Check the festival's guidelines for specific camping requirements.
- Toiletries and personal items: Pack essentials like toothpaste, sunscreen, and toilet paper. The waitinglist for the showers are enormous during the day (especially in the morning), so baby wipes and dry shampoo can be lifesavers.
- Earplugs: Protect your hearing from the loud music by bringing earplugs specifically designed for concerts and festivals.
- Powerbanks: stay in touch with your friends during the weekend with a full charged phone. I will recommend to bring two full powerbanks just to be sure. There are limited spots to charge you're phone with a long long waitinglist.
- Cash and cards: Ensure you have enough money for food, drinks, and festival merchandise. Some vendors may not accept card payments.
Plan Your Schedule
Defqon.1 Weekender features multiple stages with different artists performing simultaneously. Check the festival schedule in advance and plan which acts you want to see. Create a rough schedule, but remain flexible in case you discover new artists or want to change plans on the fly.
Hydration and Nutrition
Dancing and partying for an entire weekend can be physically demanding. Stay hydrated by bringing a refillable water bottle, and take advantage of water stations throughout the festival grounds. Carry some energy-boosting snacks to keep your energy levels up during long sets.
Safety First
Prioritize your safety and the safety of others. Be aware of your alcohol consumption and stay within your limits (also with other stuff ;)). Look out for your friends and stick together, especially at night. Familiarize yourself with the festival's security measures and emergency exit routes.

You're right. Do you already have tickets?
@@sceneryagain yep, secured tickets right when they went live, now its just a waiting game
This year will be my first defqon! I've watched every aftermovie since 2008!!
Amazing, you will love it! See you there 🙏🏼
Ich seit 2005🎉❤
GEIL!
Stimmt
Saw where i am camping out on this video, Can't wait for next year already Ahahaha
Nice to see! Same here 🎉
Seeing this makes me miss rave parties from the late eighties.
Thank you for reaching out Nico. Was it much different in the ‘80s?
ayy i saw myself at 23:37 by the medical tent never wearing hoka shoes ever again at defqon lol
Oh shit. You’ve got blisters? Hope you had a great weekend
What would u recommend? The Defqon1 pyramid tent with an air mattress for 2 or staying at a hotel 20 min away with beds and shower?
I will recommend to stay on the campsite for the real Defqon experience. Also it’s very hard to leave the park. 2 hour queue for cars every day
Camping zero🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
such a huge place
This is only campsite 0. Bizar!
@@sceneryagain it must be tiring from one venue to another......btw tq for sharing
@@martinad1383 Its a 30 minutes walk from the tent to stage red. Crazy. You're welcome!
Gibt es da eigentlich ein Supermarkt bin nähstes Jahr das erstmal dort
Es gibt keinen Supermarkt. Alle Stände, an denen Sie Essen und Getränke bekommen können
ayy they played my song 8:27
Ayy very nice! What a coincidence, how did you find out?
Bro what about if I want to go to a Hotel is that an option or is it a 3 hour drive???
The hotels close by are already fully booked I guess. So it’s a longer ride, but not 3 hours I will say. But for sure + 1 hour. You lose a lot of time leaving the area, because everyone is leaving at the same time
@@sceneryagain ok sounds good, it cant be worse than EDC vegas's 4+ hour car lines, thx for the info im traveling from AZ🌵☀️
@@mokiicustoms I'm coming from NC -- still in between getting a pick-up tent or booking a hotel through q-dance's website, but I've been told that camping is the full experience!
@@oConshien I would definitely go for the camping. It is so much fun. And yeah, you won't get any sleep, but it gives you the full experience. Being around and meeting new people, dancing to uptempo on camping at 4am,.. love it to death. Choose the pick-up tent and enjoy the whole weekend!
Great to see it behind the scenes! 🚀
