Kevin is a genius musically. His celloboxing ( his term) is phenomenal. And if you haven't checked out Lindsey Sterling's channel...DO SO!! She's trained dancer as well a violin player and makes the most awesome videos of herself ( along with others either dancing with her or singing) doing both at the same time.
AT the point where she made this video, she was largely self-taught. She picked up the beginnings of professional training over the course of two dance contest shows, RUclips's Dance Showdown 3 and Dancing With the Stars Season 25, and has continued to work on it since then.
If you want to see more collabs with Lindsey and PTX check out Pentatonix's "Over The River" (xmas song, so now is the time! haha), and Papatoui (Performed in french by Pentatonix), Or just check out Lindsey by herself. She is a stunning dancer and violinist. Thanks for the reaction!
Craig, you've got to check out "Over the River". Off of their last Christmas album, it also features Lindsey on violin, and Kevin again on the cello. It's their version of "Over the River and through the woods, to Grandmother's house we go". I don't know if that's a common song in England, but it's a pretty old standard here in America, and PTX's version is remarkable!!! Thanks for this one - appreciate you lots!!
It's nice to see you react to Pentatonix again. You have been missed. Thanks for the reaction. They were all great. I love when Mitch sings in his lower registers.
Kevin invented celloboxing and one of his RUclips videos went viral. That is how Scott found and recruited him for Pentatonix. Recommend their new Kid On Christmas video featuring Meghan Trainor.
Every time I see Lindsey dancing while playing her violin, I always get scared that she'll get her hair tangled with her bow. She never does (at least not on camera!), but it always makes me nervous. This is actually fairly subdued for her! Lindsey has also collaborated with PTX on Over the River and Papaoutai (sung entirely in French by Scott).
Lindsey is fantastic and you should definitely check out her new Christmas music. Pentatonix ❤❤❤❤❤ always is out of this world. Another great reaction.
Great reaction and a great time to discover Lindsay Sterling! She also has some great Christmas music. She combines violin with dance and has some epic videos. Check out her beautiful "Carol Of The Bells" video. Thanks!
PTX and Lindsey Stirling have also collaborated on Papaoutai (French) and Over The River. She has plenty of great songs/videos on her own channel and has done some collabs with other artists, such as Amy Lee and Evanescence.
Hi Craig......In my opinion one of PTX's best songs especially at the holidays is "Amazing Grace".😭 I've never been so emotional over any song. Their rendition will blow you away!!!
Just before the cello solo, Avi gives this look as he's turning away from the camera that is so smoldering that every time I see it my hair catches fire. I live for that! I'd have to go through your playlist to see if you have reacted to any of the other videos where Kevin also plays the cello. Since it's Christmas season, you may want to check out _Thank You_ which starts with Scott playing piano and includes Kevin playing cello and it just adds so much more feeling to the song that's already amazing and emotional. Cheers!
So glad you got to this one! Their power and passion raises this song to a whole new level. For more playing-strings-while-beatboxing, Imagine Dragons awesomeness, check out VoicePlay's cover of "Warriors" - bet you'll be glad you did! ruclips.net/video/DNh6_XubM2A/видео.html And this one by Lindsey really shows her unbelievable flexibility: ruclips.net/video/sf6LD2B_kDQ/видео.html
Several years ago I was having a number of tests to see if I could be a kidney donor for my daughter (I could and did). One of the tests involved injecting radioactive material into my bloodstream for a scan. At that time I "adopted" this song as my theme song. Even shared it with my friends/family on my Facebook page. Has a very special place in my heart.
Another great reaction ! If you wanna check out more of Lindsey, she has done another colab with Pentatonix, called Papaoutai.. Or you can check out Lindsay own songs, most are instrumentals, but there are a few with vocals, I recommend reacting to Shatter Me feat. Lzzy Hale from Halestorm..
You definitely need to see Over the River during the Holidays this year! Kevin's Cello-boxing is phenomenal as is Lindsay, & its from PTXs Grammy Nominated Album Evergreen (which I really hope they win-it'll be Matt's first Grammy & the band's 4th!)
I’m waiting for you to listen to Change on the Rise by Avi Kaplan (who use to be in Pentatonix), his song is so incredible. Please don’t forget to react to it.
And hey, the folk/Americana vibe of most of his songs fits in to the country music journey as well as John Denver does (in other words, I agree about reacting to Avi)
I loved this upgrade. If you're in the mood, how about My Favorite Things and You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch.. Or one that will make you smile and dance in your chair.. "Sing"
If you are planning to do more Christmas songs this year here are more PTX upgrades and a couple of originals. Checkout their version of “The First Noel”, “Silent Night (live), and “You’re a Mean One, Mr Grinch”. Two PTX Christmas original are “That’s Christmas to Me” and “Thank You”! Enjoy!
That was just an excellent reaction! Thank you. If you like Pentatonix and Home Free because they're just so talented, you're going to love Lindsey This is a little (lot) wordy. Sorry! Lindsey kind of defies description. She is a classically trained violinist who in her late teens and early twenties, decided that playing songs, as written hundreds of years ago, in the exact manner that they've always been played wasn't her cup of tea. So, she started doing covers, requests from fan and writing a bunch of original stuff. I think she's published about 160 songs and probably written another 100. She's gone on five world and US tours and has published six award winning studio albums. She, with her sister, Brook, published a book entitled, "The Only Pirate at the Party", which debuted at Number 10 on the NY Times best seller list. She was named to Forbes' list of overachievers '30 under 30' in 2015. She added dance to her repertoire in her early twenties and until getting some training on . DWTS in 2017, she's pretty much self taught. This experience improved her already stellar videos and that improvement is ongoing. She just gets better and better.. She is often mistaken for a trained ballerina and she probably could become one with little effort. Her total ballet training consists of putting in two weeks with her roomie who is a ballerina for a video, 'Santa Baby" off her first Xmas album. She is an innate mover with an amazing kinesthetic sense. Dancing, while playing a violin, while unique and impressive, it's still just the tip of the Lindsey iceberg. She also; writes, arranges and produces the songs. On her videos, she storyboards, choreographs, set designs, designs and makes costumes, directs the videos and edits them. She occasionally has help in these endeavors but she's got her nose in everything. Even on her tours, she's the tour directions and everything has her touch. I'd like to recommend a song or two, but she covers so many genres, so many styles, I'm not sure which you'd prefer. Classical, magnificent covers, Colabs, Celtic, Western, Kpop, Jpop, Metal and Bollywood to name a few. Live or video. Ok, a few random songs from different genres or styles just to give you an overview.. And a BTS video off of her latest Xmas album so you can see the wizard behind the curtain. PHANTOM OF THE OPERA: She wrote this in high school and published the vid in 2012. ruclips.net/video/TCL94-MsxYc/видео.html STAMPEDE: Colab with Mark Ballas, her DWTS instructor and his wife. They send their portion to Lindsey, she'd add her stuff and edit it. Almost acoustic. ruclips.net/video/t2N99PZpQ_A/видео.html FINALLY !!!!!! SNOW WALTZ bts: The wizard behind the curtain. Lindsey at her multi-tasking best. So much brain in such a small, but attractive little head. ruclips.net/video/q6G81I2T7Fw/видео.html ONCE AGAIN, I'M SO SORRY.
Lindsey Stirling is an amazing musician in her own right. In addition to playing the violin she also writes her own music and produces, storyboards and directs her own music videos.... and they are AMAZING!! Not sure if you have done any reactions to her but I highly recommend anything from her Artemis album. This one is one of my favorites. ruclips.net/video/oQrIbBqV2Ew/видео.html
I love Lindsey Stirling on the violin, she is amazing! However, this doesn't hold up to the original for me personally. The group is extremely talented either way. I would love to see her play the song in collaboration with Imagine Dragons. I think her violin would be amazing in it!
I love Pentatonix, but I'm sorry I wasn't impressed at all,but they did ok,thank you for your reaction and hope you and your family have a blessed evening ❤️ 🙏
It's too bad you don't know who Lindsey Stirling is. Your education's been neglected. You've got to do more Lindsey songs. One of her biggest songs is "Shatter Me" Featuring Lizzy Hale from Halestorm. You've got to react to that song to see how amazing they are. Lindsey is a violinist, songwriter, and singer. She's even made and sells a style of violin. Primarily, she's a violinist who is known to be a dancing violinist and has brought violin more into the mainstream. I really hope you react to some of her music. Oh, you should also check out her song "What You're Made Of" that she did with Kieza for the online game Azur Lane. Here's Shatter Me: ruclips.net/video/49tpIMDy9BE/видео.html Here's What You're Made Of: ruclips.net/video/-OVO8ZJ-IpI/видео.html I hope you enjoy them.
Kevin is a world class cellist who has appeared at Carnegie Hall with his cello (and a 2nd time on saxophone).

From all us Pentaholics - we’ve missed your reactions to PTX!!! More please!
Lindsey Stirling is sometimes called The Dancing Violinist! She's amazing in her own right!! 🤗 💞
Craig, you've got to check out "Over the River". Off of their last Christmas album, it also features Lindsey on violin, and Kevin again on the cello. Yes! Over the River PLEASE!
Definitely need to check out "Over the River" featuring Lindsey Sterling. It's off their Evergreen album
Pentatonix also did another song with Lindsey Sterling called ‘Papatoui’, and it’s in French!
She also did over the river with them from evergreen
They have two other songs with Lindsey Stirling - Over the River and Papaoutai
♥ So glad to see PTX back on the channel! For more Kevin and Lindsey, check out Over The River - a great song for the season.
It's nice to see you react to Pentatonix again. You have been missed. Thanks for the reaction. They were all great. I love when Mitch sings in his lower registers.
She also performs "Papaoutai" and last years Christmas album Evergreen "Over the River"
Their new one. “Prayers for this world” is fantastic
Kevin invented celloboxing and one of his RUclips videos went viral. That is how Scott found and recruited him for Pentatonix.
Recommend their new Kid On Christmas video featuring Meghan Trainor.
Lindsey Stirling is known for being a violinist, but I'd recommend her song I Wonder As I Wander, which is a holiday theme song where she also sings.
PTX also did another song on their Evergreen christmas album. It's called "Over the River" I think you'd like that one too.
Lindsay Sterling is a fun rabbit hole to go down
"Elements"
"The Arena"
"Roundtable Rivals"
Just a couple of hers that I LOVE
Lindsey is fantastic and you should definitely check out her new Christmas music. Pentatonix ❤❤❤❤❤ always is out of this world. Another great reaction.
just when you think you know they knock you over. If there is a instrument in any of PTX it is front and center ,never hidden
Lindsey Stirling just released some Christmas music.
Some of the more popular ones are:
"Carol of the Bells"
"Joy to the World"
and "Snow Waltz"
You should check out some of the duets with Lindsey and an incredible vocalist named Peter Hollens!
Great reaction and a great time to discover Lindsay Sterling! She also has some great Christmas music. She combines violin with dance and has some epic videos. Check out her beautiful "Carol Of The Bells" video. Thanks!

Thanks for the reaction, I went through ur Playlist and noticed you haven't reacted to their start in the Sing-Off competition they won 🙏🥳🤯

Lindsey Sterling is a pretty famous Violinist and Dancer. She is known for playing Violin and dancing.
PTX "Papaoutai", and " Over the River" feature Lyndsey. Papaoutai gives a better Lyndsey feel, and it's all in French., and yes she is world class.
It’s good to see Kevin play his cello.
Another great reaction !
