Stop pretending anyone can be a firefighter and perform physically demanding work at a high level.
Yup
Not everyone can. That’s why everyone isn’t a firefighter. Duh. But a lot of ppl can and they’re allowed to become whatever they want to be. And they don’t have to put up with you. You will be dealt with.
Tells us all we need to know about you that you assume that they aren't qualified to do the job because they're black and or female.
They black firefighters I've met are some of the best and the hardest workers.
*I guess not being allowed to do what she wants, when she wants to... is now considered "racist".*
Again cbs talk about blacks and race
Ah yes, perpetual victims.
You stop the BS before it begins..that's how that sht is dealt with...
News flash: they are worthless
The best job I ever had! Set the standard and raise the bar.
My family has been in fdny every generation since 1895 lowering requirements for feelings are they retarded?most woman can not hike a hundred pounds on their back these race hustlers are putting peoples lives at rick
Raise the bar and raise the standard because we all know lowering the standard is how women made they way in to the FDNY I’ve seen it in all kind of departments, firefighting, police, military, it should be one standard and one standard only if you can’t meet that standard to bad for you
So people who seldom report the harassment they are dealt and just answered question from a survey that they did not make are playing victim? Makes no sense. Everyone saying that they are playing the victim are doing classic gaslighting. They were asked a question and they answered it. You don’t like the answer. You don’t believe it is true. Let’s pretend it is as an exercise in civility and empathy. What is the cause of the problem? I know your brain hurts and your heart feels nothing. Hope you have a daughter who ends up having to deal w some ish and hope you say the same thing to her.
So lower the requirements for the tests will put these woman in harms way this yard dosnt understand why those tests are difficult most woman can not wear 100 pounds on their back up and down stairs so we have to change it for them and their feelings is more important than safety
That doesn’t explain the harassment that black people face though…not even the women. Are you suggesting that black people are physically more inferior?
Some woman can and some woman cannot , there is plenty of men who can't wear 100 pound gear.
And that’s why they don’t make the department my family has been fdny since 1895 every generation some things are just for men and that’s okey people need to stay in their lanes for safety reasons
Aw man not them too
Im not suprised
Sure sure kid.
*Yeah... I'm sure being asked to perform to the same standards and being held accountable, just as her peers... is considered "harassment."*
B******* commentary like this would never fly in Italy or Sicily
Ye i don’t believe this BS
It ls always the racist weirdos who know nothing about ppl experiences in the FDNY that has an opinion about ppls experiences, its always a complain and rebuttal.
*Make sure to lower both the standards and expectations of the Department... otherwise you'll make the bl..k kids angry... and you don't want to do that.*
Always the victim... this country treats them so terribly, maybe they should just leave
You are such a welcoming person. Not a part of the problem at all.
@@cestmoifu1406 thank you
what do I do if Im being harassed by an off-duty #fdny official and threatened to have my bike locks cut off at the gate of my residence in the rear of my building and away from the home of the fdny employee who allows people to wash cars with a fire hydrant within 5 feet of the front of the fdny employee home.
BS what a joke
Harassed and bullied by who?
People of same race and gender?
A survey doesn’t make these incidents fact, better to view bullying and harassment cases brought before the FDNY, and then compile a report, otherwise it’s all subjective to the respondent’s views
Ever thought that may be the survey is a preliminary step in validating the need for a comprehensive report? A lot of people are extremely dismissive of these types of incidents, due to their own biases and propensity to sow doubt if it’s not happening to them… the survey exposes a problem, which can NOW be substantiated with an investigation. A survey is a necessary step in the right direction, and is how most organizational issues are even diagnosed to begin with..
It’s not very difficult to figure out that if there are more cases brought on by women and black people, then yes, there’s a repeated pattern which is a problem…especially if it’s at 3x the rate. Do you honestly think they are just 3x more confused? lol I can’t believe there are people who would even entertain the idea that, coincidentally, both black people and women are too dumb to know what harassment is……like that belief itself isn’t already enough evidence.
Whatever
i got harrass by Matter as daily basic...who ya news station gona do?
Now the question is what did you do? Doesn't matter if you're a female you have the right to to do what you got to do...
You don't say......
Nepotism, sexism, favoritism, AND racism abounds in the FDNY.
GENERATIONS of the aforementioned issues.
Those of us who KNOW, remember that the curious case of the favorable treatment of the SON of a high ranking FDNY OFFICIAL...........
A survey was needed to highlight the OBVIOUS?????
😂😂😂 typical BS
Some people who were never taught personal responsibility, often claims they are victims.
So u think us as a whole race just claim being a victim for no reason ?
@@gallonthegreat7036 Yes. Good job figuring that out all by yourself.
What a load of BS!!!😂😂😂😂😂It is Obvious that you don't know ISH about the history of THIS country BC this problem has been consistent and ongoing since the late 1800s. FOH!!!!!!!
WAAAAAAAAAAAAA😂😂WAAAAAAAAAAAA😢😢😂
Stop it already
Waste of money studying this. You literally could just ask anyone what they think the results wld be like we all wldve guess right.
Nothing new, this Has been going on behind closed door for years they didn't say when you are "new firefighter you aren't allowed to talk to ems While on doing or you get punished when you go back to the station."
My father went on when the job was predominantly Irish/German. He was Italian, he took plenty of crap, but he gave it right back. He became well respected and made B/C.Thats how it’s done.
No special treatment stop making everything about race
Lol
I heard of a similar story to a Fireman some years ago in Jersey city NJ
Absolute B.S. No way this is true.
Wtf is she talking about lol? Can she give some examples or just wanna be a victim
I guess that u can that happens anywhere everywhere as what some ppl r .
