I have a JS 300, I got it for 200euros in my local guitar shop. Amazing value. Pickups are amazing even if they are ceramic, they sound really good. Vibrato block is thick, none of that thin cheap rubbish. Pot shafts are imperial spec, truss rod is 4mm, saddles are vintage bent metal spec, 1.5mm Allen key. The only inconvenience is that the pickguard holes are not arranged like Fender does them, so it limits the styling choices.
I have 2 Jets and they are amazing!! I’ve got the Strat and the tele …. Honestly mine both play just as nice as a fender player …. Amazing necks on them , put a little work into them and you’ll be a happy camper!! And you’re right about the humidity jumps not affecting them … I’m in North Dakota so I have the same fluctuations and both my Jets never have sprout or need much adjusting…. Roasted maple necks are definitely where it’s at if you’re a northerner like us !! Haha

How do you think this guitar would compare to a Squier Sonic or Affinity series? BTW, I just ordered the Keeley Mini-Kittyana Smol Boost over the weekend. BTW what is Smol? Didn’t see it referenced on the Keeley site.
It’s the Mini Katana. Smol is just being cute for small. I think these guitars punch way above other stuff in their price range. I would try one. They seem nicer to me than much of the squier stuff I’ve tried. Thanks for buying the boost!! Enjoy it! :)
I know it’s a budget guitar but is it me?? To my ears it sounds like complete crap, maybe it’s just the effects he’s using.. dunno why you would review a guitar using effects anyway
Probably just the player. Haha. Not really any effects past a clean/dirty. There is a strymon iridium which is the same for all my demos and I think I had a touch of delay from an el capisan. Just to have a bit of body in there. Mostly so it has some width popping out of a compressed phone or laptop speaker. I try to keep it as transparent as possible. Thanks for watching!
