You can clean the stickiness off your scissors easily by cleaning with alcohol. I get a 1L bottle of 100% Isopropyl alcohol to use in all my crafts & for other stuff for about $20, and it’s great for cleaning off tape residue (among the squillion other craft uses I have for it) although I think a slightly lower concentration one would work well too. Also, if you use a pokey tool (or a needle), you should be able to carefully lever up the plastic from your foam pieces without taking the whole piece off the paper 😊

As a side note, I often use corrugated cardboard scraps instead of foam tape. it works great, and it's free!

The card is beautiful and so many techniques went into the making of it! I’ve been embossing on the machine I got for Christmas (just having a play!) and I never thought to used a Breyer that way - thanks for sharing! Happy Birthday month, it’s not quite over as my daughters birthday is on the 27th, so you can ‘share’ her celebration too!

Beautiful! So many layers, all perfectly executed. I’ve been making a few cards lately and realized they are much less forgiving than my journal pages.
😊 the card is great. With that beautiful background i may have added the band and hearts as a flip out. With a green heart on back of the other heart. That way the background can be seen. Maybe a line words of love to background can be seen when open. Lol its just me. Im the wonky heart person too. Normal heart is just too normal. You take care, be safe. ❤
I am not a fan of hearts either! I totally get it. They have to be very grungy or abstract for me to get into them! 😂❤ you made me so happy letting me know I am not the only non-heart person! 😂 I, also, am not a fan of frills and overly girly stuff. 😢

I always learn something new with every single video. The only problem is, I get so many new ideas in my head I will never have time to do them all. If you watch one of Tinne’s videos (with Vectoria Designs) she uses a tool to tear her tape. I tried it and it does work good on two sided tape. I do not know if it would work on foam tape but it couldn’t hurt to try. Happy bucket list birthday month one more time. It has been fun.
Morning Luisa, this was, again, a wonderful, fun, inspiring and inspirational video. Again, I cried with you, and dear friend, I am sending you the BIGGEST HUG from me to you, and please send that card you so beautifully made to you from me. Wish I could just be there with you, but living in South Africa, it is a bit of a problem in distance, but there is not distance within the heart, we are together everytime you are in your art room, I am there with you, chatting away, laughing, crying with you. I have managed to get behind in my video watching and am just today getting caught up. Thank you for everything you did for us in February (I am now a certified paper splatter master, for example), and for this lovely card. We love you too, Luise. I laughed when you panicked at not finding your Scorched Timber ink pad...I still say Scorched Timber has nothing on Sascha 😉
An answer to one of your questions... when I create things, I often do an 'example/sample' or 'template' of what I want to create putting each thing together to see what the final product will look like. Then, I put together the 'real' creation. If I'm creating several 'copies' of a product, then I create the number (Example: 10) of each piece that I need, then assemble each piece, one-by-one, until I've got everything made. I keep the original 'sample' in my 'templates' stash to look back on for future reference.

Huh 🤔 I actually have no idea if I make all my card bits first or make them as I go lol. You’d think that would be an easy thing to remember, especially since I’ve made a fair few cards, but I think I have an idea in mind, then just figure it out as I go 🤷♀️ I’ll have to make one & see if I can catch myself & pay attention to how I do it 😁
