    By far the best brand new Harley I’ve bought. For a stock engine to have this amount of horsepower and torque with no upgrades is awesome. Racing a friend were going over 100 he’s full throttle and I laugh and show him I’m just in 4th I’ve not even asked this bike for all she’s got yet I was just in sport mode. Best money I’ve spent. If you can afford it like to go fast feel all the horsepower and torque on stock bike this is the one.

    I’m so happy about the suspension. Makes it worth every penny. Still not my fav look but it’s growing little by little. Love seeing’s master tech sharing.

      Oh yeah I was obviously pretty stoked about the suspension “whooooo doggie” 🤣 yeah I wasn’t at first but I realized as a brand and as a company the look has to evolve to stay relevant

    Ive had all the cvos over the years No joke. The pan america by far handles better then ALL of them. Its the gem of the lineup.Long distance no problem. You want to go offroad no problem. Push of a button to change all dynamics no problem.

      I agree ! Harley was smart to get into the adventure touring world !! They are great bikes….just a pain in the butt to work on haha, but with new technology and engineers they make life hard on us techs lol

    adjust your suspension for many different selection from comort , sport , offroad by a push of the button.You also can change throttle response , engine breaking , power. You can also customize and make 2 totaly custom setting.

    • @VtwinRevolution
      @VtwinRevolution  9 месяцев назад

      So with the new 24’s you now have the ride mode selection like the PAN….just not the adjustable suspension.

    I would like to know if the ST's heads are NOT VENTED, just like the VVT version of the 121 motor. Did they use the same setup, or are the heads vented like they were in 2023? Also, how do they handle the crankcase venting? In 2023 I had to run a catch can with an extra vent on the cover of the crankcase/transmission. Everyone is familiar with all the venting mods to stop oily goo from being pumped back into the intake. So... did they fix the problem and keep the EPA happy? Anyone know exactly how this works now? I've seen video on the 117 motor but it's not the 121, so need some definitive insight on this. Thanks.

    • @VtwinRevolution
      @VtwinRevolution  8 месяцев назад

      Yes the ST even though it’s a non vvt motor has the exact same crankcase breathing system as the 23 CVO, as a matter of fact all 24’s have this breathing system.
      The air thats created by the pistons on the down stroke is vented through the crankshaft roller bearings, into the cam compartment where there is a passage that goes through the crankcase into the transmission housing, then up to the trans top cover/ breather system. Inside of it there are some baffles to stop the early heavy oil, then as the oily air continues its path it has another bend to slow it down further to separate more oil and there is another passage that the heavy oil drains back to the oil tank. From this point it goes up the rubber hose and into the breather where all the magic begins
      Is this the end all be all…..probably not, but in looking at the design it seems like it’ll have a much better success rate

    • @TomGlander
      @TomGlander 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@VtwinRevolution Definitely appreciate your insight. Do you believe there will be less carbon buildup over time than there was on 2023 and older models? From what you described, it does seem that venting the trans top cover to a catch can may still be a good idea. I did that on my 2023 RGST and now that I'm seriously considering purchasing the 2024 CVO RG ST... I would do the same UNLESS it's just not going to make any real difference. Thanks for your time and consideration.

    • @VtwinRevolution
      @VtwinRevolution  8 месяцев назад

      Yeah, with that new trans top cover being the actual breather system there will be companies that offer their own spin on it and may incorporate a trans breather as well but it’ll be a hot min before something is on the market

    My 2000 FXDX came originally from the factory with a tune-able front end with adjustable rebound/compression and a rear tune-able compression. Cmon now brother you are slippin. 😜✌🏽

    Seems like the challenger offers about the same performance with better suspension. For about 2/3 of the cost. Now i own a Harley, but if you want performance, the cost of this is ridiculous 😮

    • @VtwinRevolution
      @VtwinRevolution  9 месяцев назад +2

      I agree…..the cost of these bikes have gotten out of control!!! I reaponded to another comment a while back and I agree there are other manufacturers that offer better suspension on stock bikes it’s one place it seems like Harley refuses to upgrade. BUT this new CVO ST does have some pretty amazing suspension

    While we "shouldn't pay 60K" for a Harley, by the time you add new bars, floorboards, and pipes to this thing (MSRP $42,999) add on to that freight, prep, tax, etc., and interest on your 36 month loan at 4 to 9 percent, and brother, you're way past $60K. Then, when you trade it in 3 years later, you'll get maybe half of that back. Ahhh... Freedom.

  • @greenrush4313

    You need to ride the PAN PERIOD

    • @VtwinRevolution
      @VtwinRevolution  9 месяцев назад

      The PAN is an awesome bike ! Still a few electrical bugs to work out of it, when Harley went to the dual BCM it made the bike very voltage sensitive so hopefully this year they got it taken care of. They changed the battery used in the PAN

    • @Gobbles420

      I’d love to own a pan am but they made this bike tall so us vertically challenged even with adaptive rider height some of us still can’t even get close to touching the ground.

    And the crankshaft is already at bran new 6 thow. Run out. To me that is for a over price bike buy 30 thousand dollars. There is no quality in the production anymore and they no its going to fail what a joke

    • @VtwinRevolution
      @VtwinRevolution  8 месяцев назад +2

      I won’t deny that….ive seen cranks out that much or more brand new….most fall within .002-.003” runout. It’s a production vehicle and you’re gonna have stuff that slips through that shouldn’t, happens all the time with any manufacturer ! But the bikes have gotten better over the years.
