- So I decided to make another Star Wars Anime Opening! This time is with Attack On Titan's Final Season Opening called "My War".
All credit goes to Star Wars: Galaxy of Adventures, a Kid's Show and program found here on RUclips.
I don't know Japanese (I'm just a weeb) so the text is just used with Google Translate I apologize if its done specifically for the aesthetic. And the clips, AGAIN for anyone who doesn't know, come from Star Wars: Galaxy of Adventures. I did NOT animate these.

Ima be real i think its the dynamic movement, blaster effects and the more chaotic animation style. It looks like a hellish warzone compared to the firework-like explosions you see every now and then in the live-action movies. Not only that but the animated versions have the stormtroopers running at top speed, high knees and everything but in the live action its always a jog. The walking through fire, vaulting over cover, and the flag bearer all looked real and energetic in a way, it made the stormtroopers feel like actual soldiers instead of random dudes in plastic costumes with guns.
0:40 I love how the stormtrooper stumbles a bit during this and trudges on. It gives off a badass feel
For those who didn’t read the description, this is a kids adaption of Star Wars called galaxy of adventures, but this person’s editing skills are amazing! :)

@@greynolander Not just that. They both used to be good kids who loved their friends deeply but were impulsive and hotheaded, prone to outbursts when things didn't go their way. They were very compassionate and wanted to help everyone they could, but due to their power developed a bit of a hero complex. Eventually, after the world around them disappointed them time and time again and their childhood idealism was crushed, they began to take extreme measures to achieve what they saw as the greater good. In the process or trying to save their world (specifically the people they love), they abandoned their humanity and became cold and calculating monsters. Both longed for freedom, but still remained slaves after all. Anakin/Vader remained a slave to others (first Watto, then the Jedi and finally Palpatine), and Eren a slave to the cycle of violence that he had tried so hard to break. And like that, both became the very thing they hated most.

I think everything in this video is perfect, the transitions, Boba Fett’s segment, the moment at 0:45 where the Stormtrooper begins running, all the way to the “destruction, regeneration,” as it symbolizes his fall from seeing Uncle Ben fall and becoming an acceptable force user. And finally the other segment that does it for me, is how in-sync “War, My War, My War,” is. Luke goes flying out, WAR, Palpatine’s sinister face shows up, MY WAAR, and then Anakin shows up, in his moments of when he begins to declare War on everybody

It's crazy how similar Star Wars is to Attack on Titan.
(Spoilers if you aren't caught up to the latest season)
Between the Marley and Sith with their army being brainwashed by the government. Luke and Eren wanting to leave their homes to explore. Luke having to face his father while Eren has to go against his brother. Vader revealing he is Luke's dad while Reiner and Bertolt revealed they were the Armored and Colossal. The Sith and Marley empire just wants to conquer their worlds. Star Wars has the Force while Attack on Titan has well Titans. The Sith's hatred for the Jedi and the Marely's hatred toward the Eldians. Just so many comparisons that I didn't even think to compare Star Wars and Attack on Titan before.
You could also say Eren is Anakin in his characteristic rage, status as the "chosen one" and gradual turn towards evil.

Being used as cannon fodder for an idealistic mass murdering empire fits the overal theme of the song.

However, because I don't personally like Star Wars, I flip that expectation by instead showing that I was referring to Attack on Titan, a franchise to which those things also apply, and which I much prefer.

As a fan of both series I found it very satisfying

I actually quite enjoyed the monster part a lot better on this one rather then the other one if I do say so myself.

Is nobody gonna talk about how this matches so well with the attack on titan s4 because the empire is technically correct in what they are doing but the jedi still see them as bad
The transitions are everything. I love looking at different complete scenes just flow together. It’s so well done with the flow and the theme.
