    AWESOME PRODUCT, AWESOME SERVICE!!!!!!!
    Very rare to say these things in today's business world however every question I have asked I got a reply and I was promptly helped out with an order stuff up of my own making! Can not thank the team at Konnected for all your help and support even down under in Australia!
    Installed the Alarm Pro myself and it was a breeze having watched the youtube guides. The software was a little fiddly but not too difficult to figure out and it works great.
    Thanks Nate and the Team!

    I bought this alarm pro panel weeks ago and have been putting off the install. Thanks Nate for doing this video. I feel confident in installing it now. Can't wait to see the tablet video that will replace the keypads with a tablet. Great job Nate. I'd love to see the Konnected products integrate with Brillant Switches. They have a small screen that could serve as the screen to see open and closed windows and doors.

    This seems like an awsome system. Is there a way to also connect a backup connection in case the internet or switch is down?

    Well you've almost sold me on the conversion/interface kit. Just a couple of queries, Do you know if the Interface Kit will work with the Ademco Vista-12A, Including the option to alarm and disarm via both App and Panel ? Alternatively I could go with the conversion kit and use the smart things app all the way, however by pressing a tile on the app it's just arm/dis-arm, Is there a prompt for a Pin Code ?

    I love the way that the end of line resistors are at the wrong end of the line. Supposed to be at the end of the line that's why they called end of line.

    • @Konnected-io
      @Konnected-io  2 года назад

      Yup. Sad to say that 9 out of 10 times this is where they are installed by the so-called "professional installers". This system was originally installed by a local licensed security company. Lol!
      Konnected doesn't use the EOL resistors, so we don't feel bad about removing them. Most of the time they're not providing any value anyway!

    • @disneyjoe7
      @disneyjoe7 2 года назад

      End of line resistors are used for lightening protection since a lightening strike would weld a door or window switch closed. The EOL resistor prevents a high current to prevent lightening strikes in welding connects.
      Now a bigger problem or even lazier is when the EOL resistor is programmed out so there’s non and many switches weld together. Causing a zone trouble.

      lost not distract others, lets focus on the product, those days of nit picking or correcting others are done, This is not a place for debating., Your probably in the wrong RUclips channel, the entertainment is on a different channel. this is the technical category

      @@disneyjoe7 haha! end of line resistors are for lightning protection. Very funny. I think if lightning struck your door or window you'll have a lot more to worry about than welding your contacts together.

    Hi, just want to check how I can trigger the alarm response companies radio.

    • @filipino_GMA
      @filipino_GMA 2 года назад +1

      This defeats the purpose of the owner being the sole notifier or receiver , anyways, you can have the system send a call by sim card,
      as to a frequency radio transmission , Alarm monitor companies wil want their list of approved alarm equipment like ATT, DSC, Chubb, GE, Edwards, Etc.. This would defeat the purpose of doing what this system is designed for, NOT HAVING A MONTHLY FEE. Im curious are you the Competitor, Thread hijacker ? or just plan ignorant Dean?

      None, doesn’t support that. Cheap non-UL product. Has caught in fire for one user. I recommend EyezOn for your application. Works with DSC and Honeywell. Has all the features this has, but allows you to keep your entire current system.

    Seems like a bit of a drawback that there is no keypad support. My old wired system will function perfectly if the power goes out. This one would only be useful/accessible so long as the home network is also set up with a UPS

      no one uses keyboard, your getting old. you can buy a wireless key pad if thats what you want. no one uses those anymore, its all about Bluetooth BLE4.7/wifi6/Alexa integration . Hard wire pinpad is the thing of the past, if thats what you want, get a Ring alarm, it now has wired system retrofit box. This stuff might be something having your Telephone company to connect this for you as all internet , tv provider offers free install

      @@filipino_GMA It's called a keypad, not a keyboard. Keypads have displays, the equivalent of screens or monitors, and all professional-grade alarm controls have them; and yes, Users still use them, along with fobs and whatever other interface a system might use, including Smart Phones.
      Trying to use a system without a keypad (KP) is nothing new. Back in the early 90s, ITI introduced the Caretaker Panel that interfaced with the local phone system, and any touch-tone phone could be used, on premises or off. But we still strongly recommended that the User have at least one KP for the event of phone line failure. Phones were very reliable by the 90s, but they could occasionally go out of service (far less often than internet access in most places), and customers who saved themselves the expense of a KP found themselves with no way to Disarm (or Arm) their system during momentary internet failures.
      Thing is, a viable alarm system needs to be designed to work 24/7/365.
      I'm not going to assert that "your" too young, but you're inexperienced.

      It’s really nice to have a UPS on your modem and router anyway. You can hardwire an inexpensive Amazon fire tablet for the keypad. Power it using the old keypad wires.

    Does the wire toner method work on motion detectors that arent currently powered? Having trouble finding my motion sensors using this method.

    • @Konnected-io
      @Konnected-io  2 года назад +2

      Yes it should. Try disconnecting the wires from the sensor while toning. If the sensor is making a closed loop then that could impact the tone.

    Hello! Cool stuff! Is it possible to use the Konnected Alarm Panel Pro in other countries? For example in Russia.
    Will the sensor response time increase due to the long distance to your server?
    Please send me a link to the information about which sensors are suitable for the Konnected Alarm Panel Pro.
    Can I buy a panel Konnected while in Russia? Do you do shipping?
    Thank you!

    • @Konnected-io
      @Konnected-io  2 года назад

      Yes, we sell and ship worldwide! The product works in all countries. If you're using one of our local platforms (like Home Assistant) then the communication is 100% local and doesn't rely on any servers at all. If you choose to use Konnected Cloud with SmartThings or Alexa, then it will be contacting AWS servers in Europe/Ireland for your region. The response time will still be very fast.
      You can use any generic reed switch (aka open/close) wired sensors.

      Fire Alarm and fire devices of any kind are propitiatory systems and its against most building codes and building insurance to have them connected to anything other than a Fire System. You can have a listener that would bypass the building code.
